I went to WDC today and I filmed some shit. I filmed during the warm-ups and i filmed during the contest.

There will be another demonstration tomorrow. I have to mention that I didn't film all the stuff, i ran out of battery or some shit, the offical mix will probably be launched in a week or so

Jus Fly won. Shal was one of the two people who didn't advance in the next round, he did 2 dunks, that craddle windmill over bike and the reverse eastbay, wasnt enough to advance... :wowthatwasnutswtf:

That letonian guy was just crazy, every dunk he did was incredible. He's into the JR Smith blend, jumping off the right leg and (usually) finishing with the right hand.

I spoke to Alexander Shalygin a.k.a crazy air about him not being able to participate in the dunk contest all the way becauze ziani was a bitch and he was very humble, he told me it's an honor for him just to be at the contest and participate with all the best dunkers in the world, immediately after that i replied: "man, out of all people here, you have the highest vertical, don't be so humble" he started nodding and laughing and high-fived me.
And especially for Adarq I personally asked Young Hollywood if his knee was bugging him at all and he told me that in Saturday (the day of the contest) he felt some pain and it was bothering him, but the next day at the demonstration he didn't felt any pain at all, and you could tell, he was jumping much better. On the sticker contest Young Hollywood was maybe 1 or 2 inches away from Kristas ( the tall Latvian guy raptor was talking about )

Apparently Kristaps put a sticker at ~3.70m while his reach is 2.55m. That's a 115 cm jump which is 45 inches.
1.96 + 1.15 = 3.11 - that would be 6 cm head over the rim or a bit over 2 inches.

and ya, kristas is insane.. he really could have been the actual winner of that contest, it was close between darlington/him.

Well if he had the strength to safely do off the backboard Avishek drops then he probably could jump pretty high as well is my guess. We all know how efficient bone-wise Avishek drops are.

Here are a few more jumps (still no sticker contest footage plus my biggest jumps was head @ rim and it wasn't in any footage and it's annoying):
