Hating on innocent animals is pretty much what a narrow mind does. If you're to hate, hate on pitbulls and their "masters". Oh wait, they're dogs so they're pretty much Christ reincarnated. Right. Forgot about that.

Obviously if adarqui has a dog and not a crow, it's so much different. Because he says so. LOL

Seriously, don't make me answer all you wrote. Let's just forget about this thread.

I wasn't trying to start anything. It's just... "unfortunate" that "we" lost a guy who was on a good path toward proving that athleticism is actually trainable and not all out genetic.

well that's a really good way of expressing what you typed in your latest post....................jk

anyway, quitting athletic training has shown me the true colors of alot of people.. some for the better, some for the worse.

When I said "failure" I meant "athletic failure" not" life failure" and I still maintain that. I think you were at an efficiency point where if you weren't so obsessed in staying so light and were just to get up JUST A BIT in bodyweight and increase your squat a lot in the process you would've gotten higher and higher in your jumping. I know you probably don't agree saying that being heavier made you feel bad etc but...

Seriously, I'm not the kind of guy that forgets easily (in fact, I don't forget pretty much anything) so... I still remember and respect all the work you put on, all the effort helping other people for free, all that. I think these days people forget stuff extremely easy which is dissapointing but whatever.

So what have you learned since you quit?

I think its great that andrew (i can call you andrew right  :ninja:) is passionate about other things besides atlhetics and sports. Its good because its good not to dedicate your entire life to athletic training without having a backup career plan. Unless you are one of the professional athletes who have their sports as their job.

I remember seeing this prince of bel air episode about this guy who had a kid and will and this guy were in a basketball competition and will let the other guy win because he had a kid and the other guy said that he wants the money for a scholarship for engineering as once you screw your knees in the nba thats it your career is done.

I myself would like to learn as much skills as i can, not only athletics, but others as well i love to learn about computers, programming, i would like to learn to be good at boxing, basketball, as well as programming, engineering, science i love to learn all these things. But some people's interest differ to others interest. Athletics and sport is not a career choice but a hobby which i try to excel at nothing i will dedicate my entire life to but as much effort i can muster.

Andrew motivated me to try achieve my goals and has helped a lot, but probably athletics didn't workout for him.

The important thing is you go out there achieve your goals whatever it may be.

i hope i have not said anything that may have offended anyone.
Warm up drills
   - a walk, b skip quick powerful switch (heel to hams focus), a runs, dribbles small to big to run, straight leg to runs (force, reflex, go up/forward). force to hit the ground before it hits the ground knee/hip is at 90 degrees.
   - acceleration: low heel recovery, shin angle low, drive legs back before hitting the ground and drive thighs/knee forward not up
-------------------------------------------------------------
Measuring reminder:
5 toe to heel steps = 148cm

Strength comes from the legs, Power comes from the torso and Speed comes from the arm. Al Vermeil
Arm also aids the legs in driving it down with power - seifullaah73

I was and am genuinely sad because Andrew quit training. There's nothing i can do about it though, and might as well talk with him about the things he loves now, because he, as a person didn't change at all, just his short term goals did...
You could do the same Raptor, just sayin'
