Haha, I knew I'll start a rampage as soon as I wrote that ;D :ibjumping:

However Andrew... you said you're going to hit your head on the rim and you didn't => failure. I never said anything like that => not failure. You have to admit that. At least I haven't given up like you did.

To me, you getting into programming is your way of saying "I know I can't do it, I give up, I'll pretend I'm being passionate about programming now so I have an excuse" - that's the way I see it. Obviously you can be genuinely interested in programming but I think, even in that situation, there's still a part of you searching for an excuse for your failed "hit my head in the rim" "promise".

So feeling guilty, you come in and write low-blow messages about me. Hey, if it makes you feel better...

of course hitting head on rim was a failure, but moving my life towards programming is very very far from a failure..

i didn't give up, i got bored.

newsflash => people get bored of dumb shit, eventually.

hahaha.. ok there Dr. phil.

you don't realize, that i transitioned into coaching/exercise science/dunking FROM programming.. it's all i did from age 14-24 or so.. i played basketball, but i was glued to the computer.

me getting into programming is simply me resuming what i was already far more passionate about, than dunking.. dunking was just a little fad that i needed to get out of my system. it was fun while it lasted, but i absolutely have no desire to dunk or do anything related to athletics anymore.

not at all.. i can tell you unequivocally that i do not give the least of a fuck about training, dunking, or anything related to it.

dunking was great anger management when i had to take care of my dying grandpa, that's the only reason why i got back into it after i "quit the first time".

head on rim goal was a good way to push myself.. but it doesn't define my life you dumb fucking retard.

low blow? you're a fucking joke. if my previous post did somehow bother your testicles, then i am even more happy now knowing that it did.

you havn't accomplished shit.

most everyone on this forum pm's me that they want you banned, but i never do it because i don't like banning people. i wouldnt ban you just because i dislike you, if i was like that, i'd have banned you a long time ago.

you say the most idiotic shit.

you always think you know what you're talking about, but it's some clouded detached somewhat pro terroristic anti women self hate full of angst babble-bullshit.

so raptor.. what have you accomplished? what have you done?

is your only accomplishment, that you havn't "quit" yet?

if so, do consider quitting, perhaps it'll save your pride from being completely crushed when you realize you're 40 years old still struggling to dunk on 9' rims using palmable balls weighing 190 lb with no abs.

peace

I have a friend who keeps magpies. Nothing wrong with a man who loves birds. Fuck that shit, i'm all for e-hate, but it has to be meaningful. Adarq puts teh ADA in lovelace, who could fault him for writng some code?

Hating on innocent animals is pretty much what a narrow mind does. If you're to hate, hate on pitbulls and their "masters". Oh wait, they're dogs so they're pretty much Christ reincarnated. Right. Forgot about that.

Obviously if adarqui has a dog and not a crow, it's so much different. Because he says so. LOL

Seriously, don't make me answer all you wrote. Let's just forget about this thread.

I wasn't trying to start anything. It's just... "unfortunate" that "we" lost a guy who was on a good path toward proving that athleticism is actually trainable and not all out genetic.

"He programming bots to write stupid shit now... what a failure." -- raptor

well that's a really good way of expressing what you typed in your latest post....................jk

anyway, quitting athletic training has shown me the true colors of alot of people.. some for the better, some for the worse.

peace

When I said "failure" I meant "athletic failure" not" life failure" and I still maintain that. I think you were at an efficiency point where if you weren't so obsessed in staying so light and were just to get up JUST A BIT in bodyweight and increase your squat a lot in the process you would've gotten higher and higher in your jumping. I know you probably don't agree saying that being heavier made you feel bad etc but...

Seriously, I'm not the kind of guy that forgets easily (in fact, I don't forget pretty much anything) so... I still remember and respect all the work you put on, all the effort helping other people for free, all that. I think these days people forget stuff extremely easy which is dissapointing but whatever.

So what have you learned since you quit?

I think its great that andrew (i can call you andrew right  :ninja:) is passionate about other things besides atlhetics and sports. Its good because its good not to dedicate your entire life to athletic training without having a backup career plan. Unless you are one of the professional athletes who have their sports as their job.

I remember seeing this prince of bel air episode about this guy who had a kid and will and this guy were in a basketball competition and will let the other guy win because he had a kid and the other guy said that he wants the money for a scholarship for engineering as once you screw your knees in the nba thats it your career is done.

I myself would like to learn as much skills as i can, not only athletics, but others as well i love to learn about computers, programming, i would like to learn to be good at boxing, basketball, as well as programming, engineering, science i love to learn all these things. But some people's interest differ to others interest. Athletics and sport is not a career choice but a hobby which i try to excel at nothing i will dedicate my entire life to but as much effort i can muster.

Andrew motivated me to try achieve my goals and has helped a lot, but probably athletics didn't workout for him.

The important thing is you go out there achieve your goals whatever it may be.

i hope i have not said anything that may have offended anyone.

I was and am genuinely sad because Andrew quit training. There's nothing i can do about it though, and might as well talk with him about the things he loves now, because he, as a person didn't change at all, just his short term goals did...
You could do the same Raptor, just sayin'
