Casey has been bullied so much and always took it. so even a little punk ass 7th graders (3 year underclassman) dare to taunt Casey (because skinny kid was with his buddies and they cheered him on and backed him). finally Casey snapped. if you look at Casey's photo you can tell he's a sweet guy. this is casey:

i don't condone violence but the little kid asked for hit. he's lucky he didn't get hurt more badly... he could've been seriously hurt.
personally i hate bullies and i had personal experience first hand. it was in 1986/87 i had just arrive in California from Taiwan and could't speak a word and didn't even know the alphabets from A to Z. there was this punk little black kid that always caused trouble and one time he pressed the communication button to the main office and said it was me. i could barely speak English so i couldn't defend myself using words. i was so angry and i decided to fight him after school. the little fag was chicken shit, slapped my glasses off and ran away. i was victorious. lol. no one fucked with me after that because i stood up for myself. same shit happened to me and my little brother while riding bicycles in the ghetto ass San Pablo (near to Richmond), super drug infested area in Northern California. some neighborhood kids tried to punk us too, and again i had to stood up. luckily the neighborhood adult recognized us and escorted us back to the liquor store. that's where i grew up because my family had a liquor store in the ghetto (hench my nick name ghettoracer heh). i've seen my share of punk ass kids. but of course, lot of them had to be tough because that's what you gotta do in the ghetto to survive... that's whole another story.

I'll say it, I think violence is part of life and a necessary lesson. I also think it's important to understand that your actions (justified or otherwise) have consequences. Even if that skinny kid was just responding (which I seriously doubt from the giggling of the others around) you've got to know what you're getting into. I mean, if GSP called me a bitch, I'd understand that taking it to fisticuffs is bound to end poorly for me!
I'm all for defending yourself, and I absolutely think there are times when physical altercations are warranted. However, I've said it before and I'll say it again, "I've never been in a fight I didn't want to be in." Big Poppa didn't have to drop the skinny little bitch on his head. I live in Australia (the vid is from western sydney) and it's been covered pretty extensively by the media here...nothing has even remotely suggested that casey was the bully.

Clearly the kid with the video camera was a friend of Richard! He was talking to Richard and was asking him if he was alright. They probably made a plan to bully kid and vid it, they had heard that casey, who is although older and bigger, was an easy target and probably would not fight back. They were going to make fun of casey in front of everybody to look cool. totally backfired.
that's clearly what happened. It's become legal and bigger so there is no way of knowing what truly was the intent of the kids cuz now they will lie to look better in court.

hm i'm sure we all know the back story on why two kids are fighting in middle school.. i'm sure we can all conclude from that one clip, that casey was being bullied non stop by some kid 100 lb lighter than him.. and that he never did anything to antagonize that kid either.. pretty sure casey is a saint and never said one bad thing about the skinny kid, and sure as heck never did anything to antagonize/tease him.
because from that one clip, where a 50 lb skinny weakling goes at some 150 lb monster, pretty sure a history doesn't exist between those two that doesn't involve guilty party's on both sides.

actually, that comment made me think of situations where i've bullied people, and i've done it plenty of times growing up believe it or not.. every time though, i'm bullying a "bully", honestly, no lying here.. i actually bullied a fat kid in elementary school, so, younger than this vid, and the kid was alot softer than that casey kid.. anyway, this fat piece of shit would spit on girls and use his really high pitched voice to annoy the fuck out of you, so ya, i hit him on plenty of occasions when he'd piss me off (by disrespecting others).
there was one incident that stands out, had it been caught on film i'd prolly have grown up in the system or been hated on by a bunch of retards all over the internet.. anyway this little fuckface would always tease me for having black friends, and he'd say nigger this nigger that.. anyway, one day me and my friends surrounded him and i took out my recorder-flute from music class, then i proceeded to bash him in the head, body, and legs with it for a few minutes.. kid was a bloody swollen mess but i give him props for not ratting me out, well he probably feared i'd do it again.
so ya, you people need context, who knows how those situations go down, WE'RE TALKING ABOUT MIDDLE SCHOOL KIDS HELLO????

Haha, I knew someone will say that. In fact, while I was writing, I was thinking about a Fresh Prince of Bel Air episode where Uncle Phil wanted to hire a bona for Nicky and there was a tough, jury guy for hire, that was weird. How ... weird is that?
No but for me, at least judging without the power of interacting with these kids' life, this is my 100% certain opinion. I agree that, if I was in a situation where I could actually do something about this whole situation, I'd be 99% certain of my opinion and act accordingly.
