was at an extended family gathering and i met this girl (unrelated to me) who looked decent. i was like hmm, if i didnt look so bad tonight, i would have pursued her (when i dont look my best i have much less confidence and im less funny)

anyway, you can see she really isnt special (left top):

whatever. i get home, she adds me on facebook........ and i see these pictures of her

WTF???

how the hell is this possible???

i literally dont understand how women can be night and day when it comes to make up and lighting.

also, from the comments section:

I love weighted chin ups. I don't know why more people don't do them.

IMO - you don't see results if you do them with sloppy form and partial ROM..

yep. dead hang, adams apple to bar level, and no swinging.

What the heck this makes it seem impossible to me. When I was 190lbs I was about 10% body fat. If I gained just a single pound of fat while going up to 200lbs, I would have been the same bf%?!?!

Well, I guess it makes it seem easier on the flip side. If I'm 200lbs and 12% bf, and when I go down to 190lbs but lose 4lbs of fat and 6lbs of muscle (think about it... losing more muscle than fat), I will have gone down to 10.5%.

So far in my cut I went from 200lbs to 195lbs without losing an ounce of strength. Actually, I've GAINED a tiny bit of strength but I feel the deficit is catching up to my recovery and will probably go back to baseline levels where I was at the start of my cut.

it just gives slow recovery and even if you actually are fully recovered, sub-optimal performance.

that is to say then you can increase your lifts with shitty recovery every day. just slower.

also, suck it up.

lol

THREE pounds in one week?!

of course your strength dropped! the idea is to lose ONE pound a week and that should do a pretty good job of retaining your strength.
