Def a low rim, couldn't tell cause he's so short. But with that pudgy dude almost banging it should've known lol.

yup.. pudgy dude was barely getting up and banging.. carr looks too big for that hoop, he's 5'6.. 5'6 near a legit 10' looks crazy small...

anyway who knows, but hoop looks low imo.

front squats are def a pain in the ass, i agree they seem to be even more specific, which would mean slightly better gains from front vs back.

i kept straining something in my upper back when i was front squatting.. i actually enjoyed going below parallel on front squats too, instead of half, trying to reverse at half, with a front squat, is torture.

apocolypse

had the craziest dream ever.. i was literally in the dream world for days.. comet hits earth, destroys tons of crap, video taped everything, go searching for my mom through disaster zones, come back, all family is there, drive up the coast bla bla bla, it went on forever.. was really cool tho.

Maybe you're on to something (Elenin)?

well i also found out today that there's a satelite crashing down to earth, tomorrow or something?

could be coincidence.. odd tho

this dream was nuts tho, one of the longest dreams (in the dream world) ive ever had... was awesome, wanted to resume the dream but my dog kept waking me up to poop/pee then i just stayed up.

Thats interesting what you said that mayweather only fought aged people

mayweather vs de la hoya mayweather was 30 and dela hoya was 34
mayweather vs mosely age of 33 vs 39

that's very true, he is always putting up terms before they can fight.

he says where was pacqiao in 1997-1998-1999... where i was dominating the game' wtf lol

pacqiao was doing a better job and the fact that he has lost a few had made him a better fighter but mayweather has never lost so won't know how to improve.

pacquio's first fight with someone who had 1win 1 loss while mayweathers opponent was 0 win and 0 loss new

Pacquiao vs mayweather would determine who is the best in the world if they were in their prime
but mayweather's aging technique is really making him a boring fighter if he only fights aged people

mayweather is always boring @ 147.. only person he ever really tried to destroy, was gatti.. but gatti is a D level fighter.. mayweather has been waiting for pac to age, so now that fight will probably get made, since pac is immersed in government.

he's so focused on remaining unbeaten that he's shaped the entire last quarter of his career fighting bums or formerly legit fighters who are now bums.. he acts as if he's the only one who is unbeaten, their are a few unbeaten fighters, Timothy Bradley is one for example.. and he's not fighting bums in his last 6 fights..

cherry, holt, peterson, alexander, campbell, witter.. all relevant & young, well except for campbell he's old, but relevant at the time.

Hi Guys

I just wanted to here some thoughts on early morning squat and/or deadlifts. I have read a number of well respected trainers say you shouldn't do these lifts heavy in the morning due to overnight spinal de-compression increasing the risk of injury.

Personally I have happily squated and deadlift heavy in the mornings and have done for years without injury or complaint. Admittedly I do plenty of warm up first - skipping, kb swings, and lots of lighter sets before I get really heavy.

So my question is this - aside from interest blogs and so on has anyone ever heard of any actual studies or research that can verify, or at least help validate that heavy early morning squats and deadlifts are bad? Or is this another internet myth that gets spread around because the same coaches (like me  ;D for example} read the same blogs and sites and end up spreading the same bullshit without fully doing their research.

thoughts and comments?

using my own experience with this, and from people i have trained in the morning, we've never had a problem.. i imagine it could be a problem if you just walked out of bed and went right into the squat rack.. but if you "wakeup" & warmup properly, i don't see how it could be a problem.

Because Mayweather wanted the big money fights. Would he have been as big as he is now if he fought paul williams instead of de la hoya? I doubt it.

Pacquiao fought clottey off a loss, and cotto only because he's top rank.

Mayweather hasn't fought the best, but don't act like Pacquiao has either.

im confused, pbf couldnt fight DLH if he fought paul?

he should have fought both.. and pac was trying to clean up the division, clottey was relevant.. he was coming off a loss to cotto which he was dominating the first half of the fight until he got bodyslammed or whatever happened..

pac was trying to clean out the division, pbf was ducking in the division.. big difference.

there were rumors of pac/berto too, before berto lost to ortiz.. cleaning up the division is much more respectable than sitting in the division and handpicking aging/crappy fighters.. pac will fight anyone, pbf will not.

were any of those pr's? just wondering.. perhaps the 4 double leg bounds?

double leg jump looked fine.. single leg bounds need a little more effort to get that combo of max height + max distance, that's more of a speed bound.

Pacquiao fought De La Hoya, Hatton and Mosley after Mayweather beat them all  ;)

He also ducked Paul Williams but that's more Bob Arum. Pac's next fight will probably be Miguel Cotto again instead of Mayweather or Amir Khan because of politics.

mayweather ducked paul/rito/cotto/clottey when they were relevant..... he's been at 147 far longer than pac.. he also ducked margarito when rito was on his tear.. pac fought cotto/clottey, both of whom are young/game.

mayweather has ducked young top talent since castillo BEAT HIM way back.
