bw = 158 <- wtf, after shits, massive water retention/glycogen supercompensation from 2 days in a row high volume squatting
soreness = none
aches/injuries = right lower leg a bit during my light reactive stuff tonight prior to lifting
fatigue = high
diet = prot shake, burger + green beans, prot shake, training + prot shake, prot shake, pb sandwhich + ramen

felt extremely strong/good all day.. felt very springy/strong during reactive work but i kept it submax.. leg injury sensation kept me from truly pushing it.

workout: mebm son
- reactive work, not going max effort, some short 15-20 yard sprints, MR tucks, and pogos, didn't push it.. leg felt odd and good, went off and on.. better than monday but still tweaked
- was nautiosou during my squatting because i had the light in my face on warmups, kinda messed me up a bit, made my head woozy
- 265 x 20 , a little higher than normal 20 depth
- 225 x 20 = toast dead done

stretching:
- really hit hams/quads/calfs hard, chest on thigh during hamstring stretches, heel to jammed into glute during quad.

tmw = full rest, big eating, lots of icing.

will post video tmw, rendering, nothing special tho.

peace!

Jumps/dunks session :

Went to a really nice court, rim looked a bit high , like 10'1'' or so. Was getting 6'' above so 32'' or so. Not sure about the rim height so can't really tell. Good thing was that jumps were easy , explosive and consistent. Left after ~20 max jumps because the court got too packed!
On my way home i found an empty highschool court , threw in some extra jumps there:
Rim looked like 9'10'' or so , was getting steady 1'' below wrist there so 32-ish again. Threw down a couple of dunks , nothing special but always nice to dunk. Jumps still easy/explosive/consistent.
Max height would not dropoff after ~15 jumps/dunk attempts there ( ~35 total ) , but i terminated because shins started bugging a bit.
Very happy with how easy 32'' was and with the consistency , not so happy with the 32'' , wanted higher.

kid got skills.

that kind of stuff is more of a demonstration of limb quickness/coordination, it's still sick though.. it has short ground contacts sure, but the forces are low.. if one were to master that it wouldn't transfer much to sport is all i'm saying lol.. it's definitely pimp though, wish i could do it without having to put any effort into learning it, because i am not willing to learn it, but i'd love to be able to do it on vid ;dddddddddddddddd

peace

very nice vid, i definitely like 1-2 jump squats over rhythmic jump squats. great explanation above too, 1-2 jump squats would really be beneficial for RVJ, especially from short runups, ie drop step.

ya man i love drinking protein shake in between squat sets, i only down bits of one shake not like what you did, but it REALLY helps compared to when I don't do it.. i calm down quicker, recovery faster, and feel less jittery.

nice pics

pc

I'd puke it out. For example, I once drank a glass of protein powder like 1 and a half hours before my workout. Guess what? When I squatted 120x5, I just felt it coming up my throat (literally). It just stopped right before going out (I was wearing a belt by the way).

maybe you should try drinking protein prior to lifting (hour before), more often.. you just weren't used to it.. just because you had a bad encounter the first time doesn't mean it'll always be like that, your "gut" will adapt.

dno, if i wanted to overload the quads on BSS i'd add bands to it.. i mean, it's kind of cool, not sure how it feels, but you'd overload quads more with added band tension (band around shoulders and under foot etc, or bands/chains around a bar).
