i was standing up for like 10 minutes whatever, laid down for and took RHR immediately, got a 49 RHR wtf?

so i laid down for 2 minutes then took RHR, 46..

my PR when boxing was 44, pretty happy!!!!!!!!




i didn't sleep all day because i wanted to watch the usa/slovenia futbol match, and uhh, ya that is another issue.. usa=robbed..

so im going to sleep now at 1pm to about 5pm, then ill dunk tonight.. pissed i bit my fingernails watching the game, real bad :(

you were getting up nasty......and i love how you breathe out when throwing down.........how far was that from when you peaked? and what were you doing around that time, would you plan to peak each week or...........

BTW i ive read your old tvs journal but dont know when this was soooooo.

thanks man, ya that forceful breathe out thing is interesting, not many people do it, i think it comes from my boxing background or something.

this was pretty close to peak, within a few weeks.. i remember i had these sessions (1 with eddie), with another session in between actually (with eddie).. then a week or so later i had my last PR session.. I was doing high frequency squatting/lunging, rea's, jumps, and 400m sprints occasionally.. I'll go back into my journal tomorrow and look for the pages so I can url you.

thanks alot man.. ya i did get some nasty distance on alot of those dunks, i never jump like that normally, not even at that park.. those sessions i was really amped and really going brute force.

i've kind of been wanting too again, but, im going to ride no weights for a longer time.. it's that 'addiction feeling' creeping back in, i can't have that on my mind !! i'm going to keep going hard with no plans of touching weights, because even though i don't feel that 'stim' that i had from msem/lifting, my body does feel alot better and my hamstring tendon is less beaten down by what im doing, although the pmghr's are stressing it a bit.

but ya i have to keep 'weights' off of my brain in order to make 'no-weights' work :D

just another Q darq, when focusing in A strength block, do you think you can have 3 strength movements..(SQUAT,LUNGE,RDL) or would this be too much in one session?

ya thats fine BUT having ALL three being completely max effort (for a set of 5 etc) wouldn't be good.. you could get away with squat/lunge going max effort, but RDL would then (or should be) a form of assistance.. back/p-chain would be pretty fatigued after heavy squat/lunges, so going real heavy on rdl's wouldn't be the best idea..

I think that's my best video when it comes to dunking. No tricks like usual, but serious power, that's all I care about when it comes to dunking.

This was when my RVJ (~37-38 inches) was pretty much at peak (August 2009). I had one more session that had some even better jumps (~39 inches) but I lost almost all of that footage except for the few jumps I put in the ultraviolence dunk mix. I pretty much stopped training a few weeks after these dunks. ~6 months of not doing anything, weak. I found this footage on my external drive, thankfully I didn't delete it!

Camera angle distortion sucks on the plants, but it's 10', this is the same hoop:

I need to surpass those jumps, that's the mission, no weights :)

calfs still sore, but those sprints last night helped them recover a bit.

i found some old dunk footage from my last 2 dunk sessions, this vid is gonna be psycho.. i was getting nasty height/crazy makes.. hopefully ill be done with it by tonight but if not it'll be up tomorrow.

calfs so trashed.. gonna plan to dunk on fri.

workout:
- throughout the day, pmghr + pushup + calf raise + pullup, 3 of those mini sessions

- late night workout: tons of short sprint starts from 2 point, 5-10 yards, a few 20's, a 100 or so
- calfs/hams were so dead could barely run the 100
- mini pullups (25), dips (10), iso squat (3min ,3min, 2min) <- QUADS TOAST



i found some old footage right before i stopped training.. some sick dunks/dunk misses.. i guess some of this was supposed to be for some big mixes, and then  iforgot i even had it.. so im planning out on putting an old dunk mix out with some unseen footage, i got a few fucking insane dunks in there no joke.
