ya i dno, that's weird shit.. it's like a breathing squat.

prone glute, ~1 hour off and on, couldn't hip extend by the end.. lots of sets/reps/holds..

this really makes my "walking"/getting out of chair feel great...

wow.....thats a lot of prone glute....why?

dno, i can lay down while im doing it :) i need lots of glute work, can't really feel them at all during any sport training, so i've got to hit them somehow, prone glute hits them ok but now im getting alot of hamstring, initially it was pure glute. I'm going to start throwing in some other variations, SL buck/SL glute bridge etc.

bw 158 before workout, 153 after haha.. was drenched

5 halfcourt basketball games
2 fullcourt basketball games

played pretty good until final fullcourt, was dead by then.

oh i blocked this guy pretty nice, he was about 6'7 or so, he went up off drop step to lay it up while i was coming in from 2 step lead in, got my hand pretty nice over rim and stuffed it back down towards him, he just went right back up and layed it up though haha..

hey darq, what would the exercise these jumpers are doin (they nice mixes by the way) where they have the BB on their shoulders and they just twist side to side.....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kUeZVukTEI - 24seconds

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYWEAyxFG98 - 28seconds

just barbell trunk twists, i'm definitely not a fan of those and would never prescribe them, just too risky.. compression + rotation can be pretty risky.

but ya they have some very nice mixes, good stuff.

hhaha... it is an improvement, but i couldnt repeat it, so its almost like no count in my book, so haha...

if improvement = PR then that's damn good.. even if it's not repeatable in the session.. i mean if it was a legit PR.. all of my pr's, i only obtained one in a session, non repeatable that session.

how much of a reach did u get adarq, when u could first dunk a self lob?

like 10'9 .. i suck at dunking though, i throw the ball down too hard so i need more height, if i just did some soft shit icould probably land weak lobs with 10'6 hehe.

do you think things like these would be just as good of an indication?

http://getyourwebsitehere.com/jswb/rttest01.html

http://www.humanbenchmark.com/tests/reactiontime/index.php

or are they considered different because they test through vision aswell if that makes any sense

ya those are cool too, they definitely are better than nothing.. the only thing would be "reliability".. those tests can get skewed based on your computer's performance, slightly, but for the most part they should be pretty accurate FOR YOU.. results can't really be compared too well against other people, because of what you click with etc.

those are definitely fine though, just have to use the same computer with them if you want some kind of reliability.

+ recording morning RHR = a pretty effective CNS indication method

good stuff

ya it is, but sometimes im really amped up and my HR is higher, so that can skew the results.

what's your morning RHR usually? I havn't taken mine in a while, think i might take one tomorrow.. i wanna get back into 4x's (48 or so), last time i checked it was 54.

RIP DENNIS HOPPER.

5/29/2010

156 this morning..

man i made a great meal, i felt tired before it but after eating it i feel alot better.. just the perfect combo of everything:
- long thin top round steak cooked in a bed of spinach/olive oil
- pita bread + olive oil
- glass of milk

ridiculous.

neutral grip pullups:
- throughout the day prior to tonight's training
- BW @ 14, 15
- My pullup strength has really sucked lately.. back when my pullups were real good, I had been doing sets throughout the day.. going to get back to doing that.

going to go to a basketball court to get some light training in tonight.

peace
