did like two hours of (right) hip/back/tfl/glute stretching tonight.. but, it's literally just "lying on my side" while watching the MIL/TOR game. that's crazy.

i need to do some "sleep stretching", ie fetal position sleeping.

unreal that there's so much tightness just lying in that position.

05/25/2019:
- felt good today
- also 157 lb. losing some fat. lul.

another massive come back by TOR.

incredible how much big-blown-leads there were in this years playoffs. TOR was down 15 with 2 minutes left in the 3rd, and somehow starts the 4th like down 6 or 8. and then just keeps rolling.

24-2 run or something?

crazy.

well, happy for raps.

and now im back to hoping the Raptors win......... LOL.

go raps: series 1, 2
go mil: series 3
go raps: nba finals

It's fucking hot (to me) -- like 24C (75F). Not used to this, lol.

funny how that works. 75 F is a dream to me.

it's been 90 F+ heat index here the last month or so. going to be very hot the next 6 months. tbh I enjoy it. it's hard to go fast but I love feeling scorched. :ibrunning: :ninja:

I feel like Paulie is going to get demolished. He had a weird press conference with Artem.

Artem has a thick skull and strong hands. Paulie is going to hurt his hands quick. This guy is going to smash him, it's a different domain.

felt really good during that run, and after.

this Tinman crew is crushing it lately. curious to see what happens come Olympic Trials. there's some beasts on this squad.

Lol it's not too bad, their regular chalk seems to be better plus it weighs a lot more per brick.  So it doesn't just crumble instantly.

My back is fucked up from idk.  I did oly lifts n shit today and it's fine but just standing around tightens it right up.  Also have a huge knot or strain in my lowerish mid back that suuuucks.

damn that sux man. hope it's nothing.

don't join the injured squad. we don't want any more members. :<

TOR is one win away from the finals.. wow.

damn @ MIL giving up two leads.

KAWHI is so lethal.

Huge mistakes by MIL down the stretch. sux.

Really hoping MIL can get a steal in game 6.. not going to be ez that's for sure, damn.

i'll still be happy seeing TOR in the finals tho.

glutezilla is back.. wait, i was quadzilla not glutezilla.

glutes/hamstrings/hips/back sore, but legs feeling strong.

hypers feeling much less painful (the last 2 days) in my injured areas. ie, the deep stretch of the full hyper was hurting in the injured area initially (the first few reps of a set). today, no pain there at all. pretty cool.

my plan this year was to get back to being a "leg strength freak".. i feel like I can still do it.

really need to avoid stretching. need to just do full ROM bw stuff instead.

05/23/2019:
- both glutes/hips/hamstrings pretty sore

09:30 AM: run + bw

run: light: 18 min ::: (grass)

bw:
- standing single leg abductions: x 30
- standing single leg raises: x 20
- full ng pullups: BW x 8
- full dips: BW x 8
- full 45 degree back extensions: BW x 45 (solid)
- standing calf raises: BW x 20
- pushups: BW x 15 (lol)

08:45 PM: run + bw

run: light: 30 min ::: (concrete) /// these saucony fast twitch's are decent

- felt sooooo good, could have really cranked it up ez - but didnt.

bw:
- felt strong
- full hypers: BW x 55 (very strong!)

Update and suchlike

Back again!

Kept up climbing a bit, mostly 1xWeek.

Been back running for about a month now, like 15-25km a week all easy.

nice! :ibrunning:

Hip still hurts at times, though. So, back to (new) physio (who has a 2:2x marathon PB!). They're pretty confident I've got femoroacetabular impingement, so I'm waiting to get my hip imaged some time soon. It's just such a weird injury since I have like no tightness/flexibility issues, just this weird internal pain. Was amused when doctor said I should get back to the gym and squat heavy, though.

doc sounds beast.

sux that the hip is still hurting, damn.

i like the messiness of chalk.

that spider chalk looks weird but i imagine it works good. i feel like i'd prefer actual chalk tho, spider chalk looks like it really "sticks to your hand". I hate that feeling, when something is stuck to my skin. lol.

100% agree.

the Drake situation is annoying & he's acting like a disrespectful slob during the game.

"I will say, again, I see it in some timeouts, but I don't know of any person that's attending the game that isn't a participant in the game, a coach -- I'm sorry, a player or a coach, that has access to the court," he said. "I don't know how much he's on the court. It sounds like you guys are saying it's more than I realize. There's certainly no place for fans and, you know, whatever it is exactly that Drake is for the Toronto Raptors. You know, to be on the court, there's boundaries and lines for a reason, and like I said, the league is usually pretty good at being on top of stuff like that."
