oh btw to clarify.. regarding flops/acting: the players are just exploitation bad (awful) officiating. the NBA's officiating absolutely sucks.
regarding whining about fouls and not getting back on D: that's BAD basketball & bad coaching.
Agree and agree.
Players will exploit the rules to their advantage every time. Refs need to stop that shit.
There's a team bonding/player management program used by a few of the footy teams here in Aus called Leading Teams. A few of the teams who used it had great success while it's destroyed other teams. It's basically a full honesty program where each player sits in front of the group and the group tell them all the bad qualities they have that need to be fixed (among other things). Apparently quite brutal. Wonder how that would go over in the NBA haha. I imagine there'd be a few egos on the line.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2019/04/30/nba-weighs-steph-curry-james-harden-no-calls-officiating-stays-spotlight/?utm_term=.5bfac92b292eQuoteThe Last-Two Minute report did cite three other moments during that span when fouls should have been called and were not. All of instances benefited the Warriors — and Curry, in particular.QuoteThe NBA’s Last-Two Minute report indicated Curry should have fouled out Sunday before he was able to hit a crucial shot for Golden State in the final minute. It also asserted that referees were correct in not blowing a whistle on teammate Draymond Green for a shooting foul on a missed shot by Harden.
Klay definitely fouled Harden on several 3's. Last one (w/ Draymond) I didn't think was a foul. I thought Chris Paul got fouled tho after his offensive rebound.
should be interesting tonight.
The players are their own worst enemy. They play for the foul, create contact, kick their legs out and then complain to the refs. Then they wonder why they don't get legitimate calls. Every heard of the boy who cried wolf?
Tbh I've never seen more players go at refs with such aggression then this post season. It's shocking.
