chiming in late on the jump squat debate to say: even when using DBs, be careful of your lower back. fucked myself up doing jump squats with 25-pound DBs a few years ago because i failed to maintain tight core and let my tailbone tuck under suddenly and under load. very unpleasant.

shoulder worse today. right big toe was also fuxored last night. rest today.

ETA: also, moderate-to-serious quad DOMS.

- half-field 5-on-5 ultimate
soooo fun, much less running, quick points, my team actually started to learn how to force. also we won all our games.

yeah it was funny to realize how little i'd been using them. but also kind of weird, because they don't shake like that after i've played a long point of ultimate or tennis and you'd think that all the COD and stopping and starting would be harder on them than a bit of steady jogging. go figure.

no identity of my own? you called me a poli-correct super left wing douche bag in the preceding sentence. if that's not an identity, i don't know what is. you can't have it both ways.

to answer your question: it's great. "political correctness" is a chickenshit term used by people who don't like to feel uncomfortable when their power is challenged by the people they oppress. when someone says it, what they mean is, e.g., "i really wish i could still get away with calling women who don't want to have sex with me 'cold bitches' without anyone calling me out on it." being left wing means that i believe that power -- financial, political, social, cultural -- should be shared equitably among all people, rather than concentrated in a few hands and wielded to oppress the majority. currently the world mainly follows the latter model, but fighting to move people toward greater equality and against oppression gives my life purpose. i'm pretty okay with that.

as far as being a douche bag: if i've been rude to you sometimes, i apologize. i was more patient as a little kid than i am as an adult and that bothers me sometimes. you are deeply irritating as an online presence. sometimes you make good posts and i like to follow your training, but a lot of the time i wish it were easier to avoid you. you make that difficult by spamming the board with so many threads.

grapefruits are the shit. they're in season here right now and daaaaaamn.

here's a delicious salad my gf made the other day:

- ~2 cups lentils (cooked and cooled at least to room temp)
- 2 small or 1 med cucumber chopped pretty fine
- 1 cup pomegranate seeds
- bunch of mint chopped
- drizzle of balsamic vinegar (start with a little and add a little more if not enough, to taste)
- salt to taste

- run 4km
first 3.5 @ ~5:00/km, last 500m appreciably faster, maybe 4:00/km. pretty easy but i am not in any kind of running shape. contemplated the amount of work it'd take to get into 19:xx 5k shape (i.e. as fast as i was the one year i ran JV cross country in high school).

- walk 500m

- stretch

quads shakin' a bit after. felt fucking great though. let's see how my knees and toes do tomorrow.

Adarq, people that are really bulky it is harder for them to handle the bball low to the ground correct? Compared to say someone like Dennis Schroder who is skinny and therefore not as much muscle get in the way when he is splitting the defense?

no.

Because I don't follow the sport enough: Does ODB have the best one-handed catch in NFL history?

right shoulder still bugging. toes okay after hurting significantly more than usual on saturday.

- GMB warm up

- pirouettes x 3,3,3,3,3/leg

- front lever x 9 reps
bit shaky on the first few, then had several good holds. EDIT: vid of two (~8-9s and then 18s!! -- PR followed by huger PR) below. felt like i made a technique breakthrough. cut self off after 18s PR for AELS purposes. trying to be gentle at the moment.

- stretch

shirtless is more fun unless i'm really sweaty.

Kingfish i think u r boss of site. All my squat i have try to replicate urs.  :headbang:

I also think u could eventually hit 315 405 455. have u thought about doing reverse flys and chest supported rows eventually to hit the upper back. Thatd be beast mode since u already have beast mid back

no upperback for me. no shrugs. don't want to have that gym bro look. im usually mistaken for a 170-180lb guy because i don't bench or shrug. those exercise makes you look massive.

same deal for me except i'm actually 180 and people think i'm in the 160s.
