fine. pirouettes are easier on hard floor than squishy grass.

i've also always been mystified by the east-west imbalance. it's so consistent, year after year. no equivalent that i know of in other major pro sports.

how you feeling now, fast does lie? i thought the warriors would win but i didn't think it'd be this dominant. cavs gave it everything today and still lost.

I feel like this guy is adarq.org. Moderately fit non-athlete picks a random, hard goal that has minimal extrinsic value but massive intrinsic value. Goes and gets it.

ETA: he did a similar thing, for dunking, a couple years ago: https://www.si.com/longform/2015/dunking/index.html

it's 11 PM and still working on this proposal. on the plus side, it'll be done tonight and tomorrow back to normal life.

as is often the case, i can't tell whether you're trolling. erring on the side of generosity...that's not a thing, dude. that sentence makes as much sense as avishek's in my signature.

re: frog stands/crow, messing with where knees are resting and hand placement led to big improvements for me. closer to armpits, closer to elbows, more or less inside. i don't see why there would a hard-and-fast rule about whether it's better for your hips to be higher or level with your shoulders, but it's worth playing around to find the most comfortable and sustainable spot. personally i've found that hands shoulder-width (prescribed distance is closer in) and slightly splayed out with knees fairly close to armpits leads to a crow i could hold for minutes if i wanted to. ymmv based on physiology, where you're mobile, etc.

feel sick, bad headache, no workout.  :(

didn't work out yesterday because (1) it was 115 degrees outside, 46 to you non-americans, and (2) gf left for three weeks in the UK last night and frankly working out seemed like not the best use of time. we hung out by the pool at the australian embassy instead, and what exercise i got was of this variety (that's me and gf in the foreground):

pools are fun.

2016: warriors by 25 in game 1, 43 in game 2
2017: warriors by 22 in game 1, 21 in game 2

cavs won last year, in case people forgot. not saying that'll happen again, just saying let's not get ahead of ourselves.
