annoyed, I purchased plan-b: 2016 Olympics Kenyan Speed Suit:

basically a singlet that is "tight", not bouncy .. and some half tights. Might be a good purchase.. probably good to wear for mile races, track meets etc.. I imagine it feels compression-ish upper and lower. I've been very impressed with everything i get that's "Nike / Authentic Kenya" race clothing, so i'll probably love this. we'll see. :ninja:

I really wanted that other singlet tho.. i'll stay on the lookout :f

just found this.. this is actually a really good photo showing the differences between traditional race clothes (left) and the speed suit (right):

speed suit is really "tight". I like it. Good to have I think!

:D

I wonder if the stuff i ordered is that tight though, this is a photo of it:

they actually use a photo of manangoi in it .. but i don't see the "white dots" on it.

whatever. should be cool.

Soreness: quads, hamstring
BW: 7st :o lol scale is messed up

Condition: It was windy, but very humid inside the gym. Not a lot of room available but managed to get the work done as I wanted. Also am fasting today but I doubt my weight would go down by 2.5 - 3 stones.

"windy" inside the gym sounds like a good problem .. not so much humidity though hah. Gym with nice air flow ftw.

My mistake. It was soo windy outside, even though window was open, hardly any of it entered the room. So humid and no air flow.
gym with nice air flow ftw def, if only it was in this gym.

ahhh gotcha. damn!! sux. would be great if i wasn't mistaken, hah.

Video blocked from WMG on "copyright grounds".

130x5 FS is good though!

Lol. It picked up the song being played over the gym speakers. As if the music isn't awful enough on its own, now it's blocking my videos . I erased the audio, it should be fixed soon.

Oh and I should have said 130kgs x 5 for back squat, not front. I wish I could hit 130 x 5 FS. I've just been doing 3x10 at 70-80kgs, that's plenty for my wrists atm.

yea your text was misleading, made sense when i watched the vid tho.. :D

i really loved front squats as well, just made my upper back feel to achy once i started getting good with them. probably should have stuck with them though (at the time). definitely felt a good boost in my quad power when FSQ'n.

Front squatting has really helped a lot (no surprise I guess). I got 130kgs x 5 last session. Been getting a few more jumps in as well, still hard. I just wait until the smaller room at the gym is free and try and hit the roof :ninja:. Bits of a session from yesterday:

damn those SVJ's are looking GOOD.

been debating bidding on a 2016 Kenya Olympic running jersey.. dropped a bid today. ($120, but that's not too bad considering I spent $80 for my pro brooks running jersey). I really like this one, the color scheme is sick. Also it's not the traditional Kenya red/black.

hope I win the bid.. don't want to "buy it now" @ $160. :D :ninja:

Troy Apke 4.35 @ NFL Combine. The commentators were stunned LOL!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qg00y0H9lok

"stunning" regardless of skin color (which Sanders was getting at). dude is flying at that weight. really impressive.. but, track dude. :ibrunning:

the "white man can't jump" thing is dead.. the "white men can't sprint" thing is getting "deader" :D

And Asian people not even being brought up is the deadest thing yet. :p
lol

hah.

ya and plenty of fast af asians from 100m up. just a cultural thing imho. I imagine (talking out of my ass) Asian parents don't allow their children to play American style football, at a much higher percentage. I don't think i've ever seen an Asian kid playing/practicing it out at the local parks. I see plenty playing basketball & tennis etc. Smart move not playing football.. it's a beautiful sport, but just so deadly (same w/ boxing etc).

I'm not registered for American Football yet but the team I'm going to play for had a win today in the 2nd game of the season. They are currently 2-0. https://www.facebook.com/sdgc.oilers/

I'm not registered because I haven't paid the fees- it's different to rugby /rugby league where my fees and travel expenses were covered by the club.

whoa. :wowthatwasnutswtf:

It's cool seeing you respect the sport too (for so long). So many rugby fans i've seen, hate american football etc, which is annoying to me, both sports are incredible. Most American Football fans don't even know what rugby is I imagine, lmao. I'm sure they'd like it though. Americans love contact sports.

Interested to see what your thoughts would be after playing it in a league like that (if you do).

I imagine you'd be a good offensive weapon (WR maybe?) :D :ibrunning: Also good on defense in something like safety etc. There's alot to learn in the sport though, probably easier to come in on an offensive role. Defense is crazy complex.
