- ultimate frisbee x ~75 mins

- stretch

not as beastly hot as it's been but still humid. i'm rusty, played like dogshit. and, once again, have lost some fitness. last time i played it was amazing how much more quickly i recovered between points than usual.

running tomorrow early morning with fast christian. still not 100% over my cold. but tomorrow beginneth the build back to 50+ km per week. will go at least once to the gym this week as well. probably later given that i played ultimate today.

One thing i've found interesting is how alot of the "older folks" train, compared to the young ones. These old veterans just go out for consistent runs, often very easy, turning it up when they feel good etc, or just turning it up in races. Young folks hit the track 1-2x/wk and do all kinds of crazy stuff. Meanwhile, some of these old dudes are dropping crazy times when you consider the "age grade" etc.. even beating most young folks. The frequency of their running is what stands out to me. They just get a run in every day no matter what, it seems -> even if it's just a few easy miles.

Niice get back on that 50+km/wk.

your squat didn't vanish, your confidence did. :ninja: don't let these little oscillations (from things like illness) fu*k you up mentally.

fwiw, drugs would just make all of this 1000x worse. imagine your squat vanishing on drugs? which it could.. especially if you've been sick etc. Sounds like a complete train wreck mentally.

also you don't look alien thin.. lol.

if you're feeling weak alot lately, might need to switch up the program slightly & also check diet, ie have some goto strength foods (for me that's steak or lots of chicken wings etc).

nice highlight video from them, right on the ring angles.

ya crawford is the real deal. can hurt you from any stance, excellent counters, excellent D. he's lethal.

i'm annoyed I don't have some longer needle spikes.. my soft surfaces I run on have gotten pretty muddy, I imagine those would help alot if I spiked up. I need more of a toolbox :D

yes steph was robbed of finals mvp by kd....

i can see that. but Durant was more consistent though, afaik.. If I had to choose, i'd say Durant over Curry.

just seems like a tossup.

Klay is most under-appreciated valuable player for sure. He hit so many key shots. Under-appreciated in the sense that, he isn't at all in the running for finals MVP.

No double tonight. ate too much for dinner (small family thing). 145 lb absolutely stuffed, that's good. hah.

84 miles for the week so far.. would have to hit 16 tmw to get another 100. Probably will hit it naturally (if I double up).

No races again next weekend. The following week i'm doing another track meet. Then on June 30th, going to do two 5k races in one day.. There's one at 7 AM, and another at 6 PM. Should be fun.

i wanted to watch it.. turns out i need "espn+" wtf? lame.

I think Crawford crushes Horn but, I did love Horn's performance vs Pac.. he really brought it. Crawford is a technician tho so.. can't see Horn being able to rough him up like that.

We'll see soon tho!
