No, i mean unrealistic.
Correct me if i am wrong, according to what i read and how i had it in mind too, unreal = dreamlike, unrealistic = not like expected.
The bar has a diverse feeling overall after the halfs. It feels like it is a hollow plastic bar that i can break in half if i want. The whole feeling i get touching the bar and having it on my back and adjusting it with my hands is unrealistic compared to the normal feel of a 20kg steel bar.

you are half right. unreal does mean something like dreamlike, although obviously the connotations are different and you wouldn't use them in exactly the same way. but unrealistic doesn't mean unexpected, means very unlikely to occur in reality. the most common way i can think of it being used is in relation to expectations: e.g., "imagining costa rica will win the world cup is pretty unrealistic." something along those lines.

that's also not a correct way to use "diverse," you should just say "different" there. but i'm not really sure what you mean by unrealistic in that context. it feels fake compared to the way it feels normally?

WEIGHT: ???
SORENESS: none
ACHES/INJURIES: left shoulder but less than previously (???...not that i'm complaining), knees a bit achey
MENTAL STATE: good

- warm up

- DLRVJ x a bunch
felt really good walking out but the four-step jumps were just okay. still better than last time, probably ~34-35 range for most.

- SLRVJ x a few
got vid, so incredibly slow, much slower than they feel. right around 29.5-30 for both legs.

- stretch

- grip work with COC

debatable but i thought it was the right call, it looked like it hit his bicep.

such a shame for chile, they outplayed brazil and just couldn't put it together at the end. i think they should have kept attacking instead of settling black and playing for the shootout. oh well. here's hoping colombia torches brazil next week.

why dangerous?

It didn't feel so slow

not slow, looked fast and a little out of control, that's what raptor's saying.

thanks seifullaah, haha.

I like to use that Frank Dick calculator as well. It gives you an indication of your potential and what the general benchmark is. That time doesn't surprise me because you've got a good squat (2x your bw) and fairly low bodyfat so I'd expect your acceleration to be good.

yeah although 4.5 is still pretty slow, ~5.1 in the 40 which is offensive-lineman speed. but those dudes are almost twice my size.  :'(

i guess i'd be happy with 7.4/11.8. where i'm at just means my top speed and fitness are crap. nothing new about that knowledge, of course.

WEIGHT: ???
SORENESS: none
ACHES/INJURIES: left shoulder, right knee (from first set of leg presses yesterday i think)
MENTAL STATE: okay

- warm up

- SL bound 15y x 3

- sprint 30m x 4; 60m x 2
4.6, 4.6, 4.5, 4.5; 8.2, 8.2 -- i know t0ddday puts no faith in these things but my "predicted" 60m for a 4.5 30 is 7.4. oof.

- four-point sprint starts x a bunch
i'm terrible at these, way too much on back leg, no idea what i'm doing really. t0ddday told me that your back leg is supposed to contribute little or nothing to the first stride -- he drags his back foot even at the beginning of strides -- and that is DEFINITELY not true for me.

- hurdle hops x 8,8,8

- stretch

got some video, will post in a bit.

man that is just a ridiculous jump.
