Well if I'm a woman and go to a guy and say "hey, listen, how about we have some sex", I don't usually need to ask twice. The same DOESN'T apply to a guy.

So it depends on how hard you need to work to obtain something. If you know it's at your disposal any time you want, it won't be that "inciting" to make you drool about it.

More hip into the plant ^^^ when planting from the baseline

Plant definitely occurs more in front of the body than straight-under, like you normally do when you go from the left-side, perpendicular to the basket.

Exactly. I mean, take Nightfly here. He squats pretty much the same as me in terms of max strength numbers, but for his structure, leg length, torso length, ROM, etc, that's pretty crazy if you think about it at 6'5.

I think the calves get enough work if you do any jump squats, box squats, or high intensity jumping.

If you want extra work, I'd lean more towards hill sprints and sled drags/pulls than calf raises.

x2

To me, my left calf, especially the lateral head, is VASTLY developed vs my right calf, because of all the jumps off my left leg vs. none off my right leg.

To quote myself from youtube:

And if I'm not crazy, you plant with (MUCH) more posterior chain involvement when you come up from the baseline angle. I tend to do the same, I've noticed.

Really interesting.

The reason it appears women can abstain from sex easier are biological in nature, but also because they can get sex pretty much whenever they want.

Sometimes, Blake is a drama queen...

Yeah, I know, it should work well for this type of training.

In my case, I have no pins so I don't really like to half squat because I'm going to use a bit of a heavier bar and if I can't go up with it anymore... then...

why can't you go up with it anymore?

Well you have the luxury of the pin cage. If you fail a rep, you just let the bar on the pins and that's it. For me, if that happens, I'm in a bad, baaad situation.

Nah, I don't think you need to know everything IN THIS situation. It's obvious what's going on by how that kid's friends record the whole thing, encourage him to "taunt" and "make fun" of that fluffy guy, the skinny guy's face/facial expression, attitude, approach, him holding the fat kid with one arm, fixing to punch, then punching (showing off basically, "hey, look what I can do") and on and on.

I for one don't need more proof.

I hope you're never on jury duty.

Haha, I knew someone will say that. In fact, while I was writing, I was thinking about a Fresh Prince of Bel Air episode where Uncle Phil wanted to hire a bona for Nicky and there was a tough, jury guy for hire, that was weird. How ... weird is that?

No but for me, at least judging without the power of interacting with these kids' life, this is my 100% certain opinion. I agree that, if I was in a situation where I could actually do something about this whole situation, I'd be 99% certain of my opinion and act accordingly.

So Andrew, for the work sets, do you do one work set to failure?

Meaning, a session is stretching + 1 warmup set + 1 work set then go home?

I was thinking about doing some squats before I go to work, so I could experiment on that doing it every day. Then do my usual workout on the evening.

I don't hate capitalistic concepts... if they are truly applied. I hate hypocrisy though. I hate the whole "we are civilized" thing while in the back you do all kinds of shit.

I hate adarqui.

you hate me because i'm a raptor proclaimed "typical capitalist pig", or because i'm dominant alpha?

Now you wouldn't want an answer to that, would you? ;D

I hate you to make you stronger.

they hate me over there, they don't realize it's like caffeine/adrenaline to me

Next time you jump 40, 1 inch is because of me, please bare that in mind.

PS. I sincerely hope you're just trolling with that "skinny kid support thing", just to be different.
