yeah vag, get with the program. all the cool kids are doing high volume now. it's not like you're PR'ing once a week with your current set up.

I ended up taking 6 melatonin tablets (!) last night and I still couldn't feel sleepy. Apparently training wires up my CNS so much that it made them completely ineffective. 2 nights before when i took the supplement for the first time, 5 tablets totally knocked me out. My star burns so bright in the gym, i know lifting heavy 3x a week isn't sustainable but i dont know any other way. I am hungry for success. Today and yesterday have been good diet days so far. Somewhere along the lines i found discipline but lost others.

Melatonin doesn't work like that.  It doesn't have anywhere close to a linear response.  In fact more melatonin can make you feel less sleepy.  Why are you taking 6x the amount of something?

lol.

could not fall asleep last night and slept fitfully once i did. made the call to go back to sleep when my jumping alarm went off and ended up being a little late to work, even. need to figure this sleep thing out, it's been a problem the last few weeks.

i was at a dinner party with some people who had young kids. i tried to teach a ten-month-old boy named fifth april* the words to "solidarity forever." he did amazingly well for someone so young, although he was more interested in chewing on his shirt than repeating "dodidarity" after me.

*no idea.

Hey, what does the +20 mean? This one:

Sun Dec 14 405x1 | +20.

that he feels he could have lifted 20 pounds more than that day's max lift. that is, his max yesterday was 425 but he limited himself to 405. do not attempt to use this method of accounting, he earned it through a shit ton of practice.

watch the whole thing. the second-to-last lift is a guy DLing 605 at 155 with a double-overhand grip.

that was an alternate grip. still extremely awesome.

indeed it was. not sure what i was seeing the first time around. but yes, holy balls, what a lift.

wut.

6238
Oh... lol... hm... shouldn't you plant pretty well RL then?

raptor we've had this conversation at least three times before.

6239
Off right? That's so random.

nah it makes sense, my right leg is a stronger plant leg (i kick left-footed).

6240
yeah i'm gonna stick with 'em for a while. would be so sweet to have a full ROM unassisted.

also, i meant to mention: touched rim off right leg SLRVJ, very close off left today.
