i wonder if heat going to run out of gas the way they are winning lately....

its not easy to beat raptors @ canada and pacers @ indy...... they beat celts ..... i mean dam

they are like 20-4 the last 25 games..... usually when teams do this and they're not golden state.... they hit a wall sometime.....

all it takes is for u to go up against a hungry team and be out of it to go on losing streaks in this league...... that is if ur not GSW.... gsw on another level, they have the power of the RING ....

i dno. i think the beauty of Miami is that there aren't any "true superstars", other than Whiteside but, he's more of a rebounding/blocking/big presence superstar, his offense is decent but he isn't there #1 goto. There's no real #1 goto player anymore. On any given night, anyone can go off. This doesn't happen too often in the NBA.

as far as coach Spo goes, these last two years are probably his most impressive. All of the titles he has with the heat, came with multiple mega-star players: Shaq/Wade, Lebron/Wade/Bosh. It took him a while last year to figure this group out and get them clicking. It took a short while this year. But man once he gets them all clicking, 12 deep, they became a real threat. Literally anyone on that team can step up and their defense is rugged.

so ya not sure if they will fizzle or not.. last year they kept it up from all-star break until the end. This year I really think they will keep it up into the playoffs.

I just don't think i've seen a team with this many injuries, respond so well .. EVER. Except maybe the New England Patriots in Football: reason - their Coach. Seems like the same reason here.

I'm a heat fan so, but even if I wasn't, i'd be just as impressed with the heat's last 2 seasons and Spo's coaching.

I think they'll be even more on point in the playoffs. Lots of analysts now saying the Heat could be the real darkhorse in the playoffs this year, ruining alot of party's. We'll see somewhat soon enough.. :D

man i wish i can see some closed practices of GSW.... they must really go at it and work at it in practice.... i can see Kerr just going nuts over certain things..... kerr has that MJ aggression in him, it happens when ur with MJ for so long....

gsw is just faster and more accurate than the entire league period.... steph klay can release shot in like mili secs and kd shoots over anyone with accuracy....

give gsw the ring now, its over.... like seriously..... they're just going to win the ring again unless refs make sure they dno't and than that would just be too obvious on nat'l tv

lol pretty much. Kerr will be a GOAT-level coach when it's all over. He might end up the "Jordan of NBA Coaching", eclipsing Phil etc. I like his style and offense alot better than Phil as well. Plus Phil had MJ and Kobe/Shaq. KD changes everything for GSW, that's like Kobe/Shaq level now for GSW, except KD and everyone on GSW seems to get along great. HEH. That's important. Those dudes love playing with each other, sharing the ball, lighting it up as a team, and defending hard.

Always loved Kerr. Just hope his damn back gets fixed :/

Vista View Ultra 360 Relay: Our team (Loco Rio) got men's #1 (44 laps? @ 1.25 mi per lap)! Women's team got #1 also! 11 x 1.25 miles. 7th overall on horse trail (5:54 min/mi pace) on the hilly path - on my last lap - nice.

Stepped on a rock real hard in the first lap, on a downhill in a concrete gutter. Hurt pretty bad when walking, but not much when running - thankfully. The "pain of running" helped drown it out, and there was lots of soft mulch which also helped. Was really worried about it initially. About to ice it.

Apparently these were my splits, pace via running calculator:

11 x 1.25 mile splits:

7:37 00:24:08 // 6:05 min/mi
7:31 00:56:54 // 6:00 min/mi
7:39 01:28:34 // 6:07 min/mi
7:31 02:00:17 // 6:00 min/mi
7:30 02:32:22 // 5:55 min/mi
7:35 03:04:33 // 6:03 min/mi
7:45 03:36:57 // 6:12 min/mi
7:50 04:09:36 // 6:15 min/mi
7:31 04:42:13 // 6:00 min/mi
7:52 05:15:38 // 6:17 min/mi
7:15 05:48:10 // 5:47 min/mi

2 x sub6, 5 x very close to sub6. 9.25 miles @ ~6 with recovery in between. pretty cool.

btw .. a 60 year old won the individual race, incredible. 31 laps. Last year's winner had like 42, he's a pro, but he's also like 40 or so? This dude is 60 & dropped 31 laps. 31 x 1.25 miles. pretty sick. seemed like a cool/weird dude haha.

The team results:

http://www.splitsecondtiming.com/results/2018/vistateam2018.php

#2, #3, and #4 were in a real battle .. that was pretty close.

we fell short of our goal of 46, but some of that is due to people playing it conservative - to be safe. I didn't play it conservative at all. I just went out hard every time and figured, who cares, let's get it. Some of the laps were really rough and I noticed I was breathing harder than every single person I past (blazed by).. so that was interesting.

On my very last lap, the one I pushed really hard, I was making lots of yelling-ish noises. Just did so naturally. In order to keep that pace, I had to just "grunt-bark" from pretty much 0.50 to 1.25.. It was really loud but it helped me keep turning on the turbo boost.

This is probably a good sign leading up to March 24th's half marathon .. I really think I can hang with those 5:55-6:05 dudes who normally win it. I should be in even better shape by then too, so ... looking to shock some people & WIN in my back yard.

:D

I think they took lots of photos.. should have some good ones.

oh .. I ran with my glasses the entire time as well.. after I wrecked my right heel in the first lap, I just couldn't risk not being able to see another rock.. I had my glasses on when I hit it, but I didn't have my headlamp angled downward - didn't know it could move. so I ran with my glasses. hah.

my last split .. check out the GAP time, hah. GAP time takes into account elevation .. so that was ~5:47 pace over 1.25 normal, and like ~5:2X pace over 1.25 GAP. sick. lool.

movin.

30 min treadmill jog @ 8:30mile/5:17km pace

Core circuit:
Elongated plank w/ 25lb 3*25s
Side to side reverse ab wheel: 20,16,12
Deadbugs (3s ecc):20,20,12

Immovable resistance ISO's:
Outside leg pushes 3*5 (2-4s contractions)
Inside leg pushes 3*3 (2-4s contractions)

Need to start doing outdoor jogs as weather improves, treadmill is dumb. Immovable Iso's are very high intensity, nerd to be careful with programminh

agreed, treadmill sucks.

also, overcoming iso's are rough. not sure if the risk/reward ratio pays off. every time i've done them, tendons just get hit way too hard. I imagine adductor overcoming isos would feel especially intense.
