Lots of sugar is not good, just as lots of fat, protein or any given nutrient taken in excess isn't good. If you repeated the same experiments which he cites with any given macro or micro nutrient those cells would die off fairly quickly and would show a whole host of funny responses. And for what it's worth lots of elite athletes eat like shit - they need to eat alot as they expend alot of energy due to the fact that , you know, they're professional athletes. That doesn't make it a good idea - but yeah, you don't have much of a point there.

Also I think i'm a little bit more qualified to interpret scientific research than you as a) i've experience in metabolic and nutritonal research and b) it's my job. So I can tell you with full confidence that no it did not tell you that it was making you fatigued. You came to that conclusion by a combination of misinformation and a lack of of knowledge in the area.

As for Adarq's training - it's not perfect - nobodies training is perfect but the dude has as consistent results as anybody here so I don't think theres much to criticize.

Raptor is an idiot, don't listen to him, and that video is kinda misinformative. Some of the studies he cites are absolute bullshit - they're not physiologically relevant at all. Flooding cells in a petri dish with non-physiological levels of fructose doesn't tell you anything useful.

Man - I only have access to a smith machine until I learn how to drive. It's a decent smith machine though..it obviously takes the load off your core but it moves in a horizontal and vertical plane so it's not on a fixed path like a smith machine...
My training has mostly been that, deadlift and jump hang snatches. Not doing any pylos except for playing ball...gonna concentrate on putting hella lbs on those lifts for the next 2 months and then i'll do a mini cut...i will try that high rep squatting though...i'll have to drop down to about 200lb for it though...

Ok - updating this on my Feb goals.

Goal No. 1 - Dunk
I dunked but not in an indoor court with a 100% legit 10 foot rim so i'm putting that as a fail.
I'll get it this month though.

Goal No. 2 - Deadlift 110kg

Got this and deadlifted 115kg just for good measure.

Goal No. 2 - Hang-snatch 50kg

Got this.

Goal No. 2 - Maintain squat @ 125kg x 5

Didn't get this 'cos I couldn't measure it. My strength hasn't fallen off that much though i'm pretty sure once I start putting that weight on my back i'll hit it for 5 reps pretty quickly.

Overall a decent month - vert is moving up slowly.

Looks fine but to be honest you need to consider portion size...don't go crazy on the nuts - A handful will give you all the health benefits while keeping your fat intake moderate Looks good though.

Told ya man...the phlegm is probably just a respiratory infection. My bet is this time next week you're nearly 100% again.
