Have you tried/heard reviews on the Nike Zoom Waffle Racer 8s? I had the 6th edition that you had and they were amazing.

the zgin is back folks.

thanks man, feels good to be back. Nice Turkey day workout today.

LUNGE 100 5X8 each.

I did 105 @5x8 last time but my bar at home is only 20 lbs while the one in college is 45 and the same amount of weight just feels so much heavier on a 20lb bar than a 45 lb bar. shits weird.

Also, I'm going to lift by working up to a 5 rep max, then dropping down to 4x8 or 5-8 instead of just 5x8 so that the weight feels light.

for the 45 deg hypers, u feel bw is sufficient or u add weight using plates or dbs?

I always did bodyweight because I would already get a ton of glute activation from a slow eccentric transition into a rapid eccentric movement. if you dont feel anything, use plates.

Hey, I want to do 5x8 lunges and 3x5 deadlifts 4x a week. Can I get away with this much frequency considering how light the weights I'm using are?

HAHAHA LBSS. Quidditch is intense now at the tournaments we play at. It used to be just a Harry Potter club but there are legitimate athletes now hehe. Since I'm just starting again, I'm thinking about lifting lower every other day high rep and doing bodyweight high rep exercises on the other days. Because the weights im using are pretty light, i think i can get away with high frequency really easily.

sup bitches. my hamstring hurt so bad after last workout but it healed just in time for quidditch regionals which we placed 5/24 teams which is good considering we lost 2 of our best players. back to work today with a little more reps

LUNGE 5X8 @95 1 min rest

these were very good. breezed through 1st 3 sets and started to get a little winded after the 6th rep on each leg for the last 2 sets. pretty happy and will bump weight up next time :)

wanted to do hyperextensions but my hamstring isnt ready to go yet after straining it last workout

Hey guys. I hope some people recognize me. I'm starting to work out for jumping again. Had a light workout to get in the swing of things but shit's about to get real.

WARMUP on treadmill
LUNGES 3X8 each leg @95 (lol)
DL HYPEREXTENSIONS 1X20
SL HYPEREXTENSIONS 3X15 each leg

wanted to test my vert but no room on the bball court. Going to do like 3 months of GDP phase, then a few weeks of strength phase. gotta get mad strong and shit.
2x a week so i have time to study and play quidditch. im on the nyu quidditch team  :headbang: i dunked a volleyball on like 9.5 feet with a 360 which was really cool a few days ago so i think i have some bounce left

September 23

Played 2 hours of tennis, then went to the gym with two of my friends. Unfortunately, none of my friends go hardcore on lower body like I do, which usually means my gym visits consist of meeting at the gym, talking for a few minutes as I stretch while they do their first exercise, we splitting up for 45 minutes, then meeting again as I lunge and DB press while they do like 5 variations of bicep curls, then I hang out with them as they finish their workout. lolol.

I did get dehydrated today at tennis as I forgot my water and I was getting pretty dizzy by the end, which was a bit scary. I actually played decently all things considered and look forward to next tennis clinic. Anyway, I think my dehydration at tennis probably hindered my workout a bit. I was also a bit tired as well as I have been drowning in AP work all week. Also, I'm finding myself enjoying squatting a bit, which is good.

SQUAT
@125 3x8- pleasantly surprised with these
@125 1x6 failed here.

DL HYPER
1x12

SL HYPER
3X10

LUNGE
@125X5- this was easy
@135 2X6- harder than expected
@135 1X5- was really tired on this one

DB PRESS
@20 3X12- nice, fairly easy

CHIN
x7- felt like I could have done more but wanted to keep some gas in the tank
x5- disappointed about this one
x5- i did this with my feet crossed, which I've never done before and liked

HYPEREXTENSIONS
DOUBLE LEG X 15
SINGLE LEG @3X12

SQUAT 125@2X5, 115X5.
this is where the brucelee'ing really hurt me. very disappointed

LUNGE 135@3X5
pretty strong.

CHINUPS 8,5,4
meh, first set wore me out i guess

DUMB-BELL PRESS 25x10, 20 @3x10

NON TRIPOD 3x12 each
easy, but my lower back is hurting a bit, despite my abs doing most of the work. not sure what to do.

SEPTEMBER 14

Went to the gym with my friend, who likes to workout more like a body-builder than an athlete so he used mostly machines the whole time and i did my usual shit. lol, social fail.

SQUAT- 125@ 3X6- nice

HYPEREXTENSIONS-  very nice with the glute
DOUBLE LEG X 15
SINGLE LEG 4X12 each

PLATE SWING @ 2x10- eh, dont like these much with a plate. wouldn't mind a kettle-bell but not available

My friend and I had to go so I didn't get to do upper and core :(
