Very nice and very easy ^^^, what's your max now?

How has your vert evolved so far?

This is my max/pr.
I don't know anout my vert. It feels a bit higher but i'm not jumping often .Also i've been injured since last summer and now i'm just training to get back in shape. I'm stronger now that i used to be and i don't habe any hip problems anymore, so i guess i'm back in shape lol.

For now i'm going to compete im powerlifting and then maybe get into mma or sprinting (and some tricking/jumping in the summer)

No the floor doesn't help with standing jumps. It helps a lot when you bounce.

Hence it helps with standing jumps as well.

Well, in my bro opinion, having "dead excess weight" messes the proprioceptive signal around. The CNS is like "I ain't gonna allow this limb to move this fast while being this heavy" as it receives signals from the receptors that sit in that particular limb. At least, this is my view on things, but you can take it as the holy word if you want to. You know I'm just never wrong.

I'm chasing a 300 lb clean and strict press (I think I'm good for 255-260 now) and one of the better assistance lifts I've found are paused handstand pushups on parallettes. I'm still not great at them, but having said that, I do weigh 225 lbs. Thought I'd post up a video of today's top set.

I'm not sure what the hope is for the guy. I mean, he's dedicated but has failed to actually DO stuff that works, even when presented to him, again and again.

Ouch.

Well yeah, some people just don't get it (think CoolColJ). They stay at their huge bodyfat or low strength and expect to act athletically, and then, when they actually do work and put effort to get their strength right and athleticism they mess up with doing silly stuff like marathons and endless conditioning or just do something else.

How about you? lol
