Also played some pick up basketball today for about 90 minutes with some mates. Left Achilles felt fine when I was playing but flared up afterwards and is painful as fuck right now! Prior to playing basketball and going to the gym I had a MRI scan done on my achilles and have an appointment with the Surgeon tomorrow afternoon so will be able to get an update on the condition of it. I'm thinking I might have some Haglunds deformity on the left side so it will be good to get some confirmation of the issue.

Enjoy the lockdown. We're just coming out of 12 weeks of pretty harsh lockdown here. We got to zero new cases per day but the toll on businesses and people's mental health has been huge. Still being drip fed our basic rights too.

What's the Victorian's public opinion of Daniel Andrews?

I know this thread is called NFL but lets add college football in it as well.

I caught a bit of the Maryland v Minnesota game that went to OT with Maryland winning 45-44. It was the first college game since 2004 where 2 players have rushed for 200+ yards. Maryland RB Jake Funk balled out for 216 yards on 20 carries with 1 TD and he also had a receiving TD.

Tuesday

Gym

Bench-
barx12
60x6
100x3
115x1
125x1
102.5x5 for 2 sets
102.5x3
85x8

I'm happy that I got 125kg (275lbs) but everything felt heavy today, which I attribute to 5 hours sleep and lifting yesterday. Whenever I bench without training the day before it always feels a bit easier. I had planned to come in and do 112.5x3 for 3 sets but adjusted to 102.5x5 instead based off how heavy 115 felt in the warm up.

Fly Machine-
20x12
30x12
40x12

Incline DB Bench-
14x13
20x13
30x12

Good call on the farmers walks. I've been meaning to start doing them again (and also suitcase carries) to work on my core. I never did figure out how to make my obliques grow.

I'm enjoying them so far albeit only done 2 sessions with them. They feel functional and a nice way to end a workout.

Man I'm so jealous of all that equipment. I'm in Vic and that stuff would be going for thousands down here.

Lockdown finally over!!!

Felt much better today. Went to work and barely even had to use any tissues.

Gym

Squat-
barx6
60x3
100x3
130x2x2
105x9 for 2 sets

Weighted Chin Ups-
20kgx5x2
15kgx9
10kgx9

DB Farmers Walk 30m distance-
20x1
30x1
40x1
I've started incorporating farmers walks after watching a Joe De Franco video and him spruiking the benefits of this exercise for core and traps etc. I always train when the gym is fairly empty but I did catch a few puzzled looks from other people at the gym probably thinking along the lines of 'what the hell is that guy doing!?'

BW- 90.7

I didn't train this weekend. I ended up going out drinking last night and woke up feeling horrible. I've been battling a minor cold for the past week and going out last night just flared it up again. My left pec has been feeling ticklish all day and coughing up yellow phlegm. I'm going to bed early tonight and should be all good to train tomorrow after work.

Felt too lazy/fatigued to do any chin ups. Planning to do squats tomorrow so I'll do weighted chin ups tomorrow.
