You don't really need carbs in the postworkout, although it will make it taste better. The logic behind using carbs is to either spike insulin or refill glycogen stores. For one, protein spikes insulin on its own, and you don't even need to do that anyway. For the glycogen stores, unless you're on some kind of low carb diet, you'll refill them throughout the day so there's no reason to do it post workout.

Girls hitting puberty earlier is anecdotal bullshit. There's no studies/statistics that suggest they are. People only think girls age faster because of the things I listed previously.

Explain to me why these hormones are unhealthy. Give me one legitimate study that shows negative health effects in humans from non grass fed cows. I'm not saying they aren't unhealthy, just that there's really no proof besides maybe a messed up omega 3:6 ratio.

The "evil corporations" are the ones selling you "organic" food at bullshit prices.

^ humanity has always hit puberty at 10 years old... ok stfu and go do your curls for your boyfriends.

Educate yourself. I really don't want to talk about 8 year old girls anymore.

And yea, doing curls is so gay. Squats and Milk is what real men do.

what do cows, chicken, pig eat? corn mixed with hormones aka in organic stuff.  you're welcome.  why do 12 year olds look like 18-21 year olds nowadays (esp the girls)?

They look the same, they just wear more revealing clothes, pushup bras, yoga pants and tons of makeup at younger ages because they have terrible parents in addition to media influence. Considering girls hit puberty at 8-10 years old, why wouldn't they have breasts at 12? Get your hippie bullshit out of here.

You're welcome

There *might* be some benefit if you like to train fasted (I do), but it's not worth the price. You'll have plenty BCAAs in a moderate to high protein diet.

Amateur boxing is retarded anyway. Boxing should be about beating the shit out of the other guy or at least hurting him more than he hurts you, not doing weak shots to get your punch count up.

I didn't know Creatine, Beta Alanine and Citrulline were stimulants.

These all help and you should take them everyday if you have them. You don't develop a tolerance. The only difference you'll notice is you won't get tingles from Beta Alanine after awhile.

But again, these don't help that much and if you can't afford them don't worry about it.

I can give studies for every ingredient I listed (besides Tyrosine. That's more of an anecdotal thing). Considering you think pre workouts "increase adrenaline" shows you have no idea what you're talking about. The only thing that does something remotely close to that is 1,3 dimethylamylamine.

Assuming one has normal levels of testosterone, dietary changes aren't going to do anything for significant hormone production increases. People even worrying about hormone levels is laughable. The only time to worry about hormones is if you have low testosterone or you are taking steroids. Once you are in the normal levels, any increase you can do naturally will have zero effect on anything training wise. The most you will see is an increase in libido but that's probably just placebo. Even if you take steroids, that's not going to "amp you up" like stimulants will. Plus the other ingredients will still help.

Adrenal fatigue is not real

The funniest thing about this thread is hyperdunk doesn't realize Raptor is being sarcastic.

Hyperdunk thinks he's hot shit because he plays high school basketball. All of us "meatheads" did as well.

The durant video is a joke.

I can progress in Leg Presses and Barbell Hack Squats faster than Back Squats, does that make them better?

But then again Steven-Miller is a rippetard and thinks his opinion matters because he can squat 450+ pounds.

I can leg press 660 lbs. Does that mean my opinion matters too?!

AWESOME! :highfive:

He's probably going to respond by insulting me. Somehow that will give his opinion more credibility. He thinks his opinion is important because he increased his squat and jump by a certain amount. That's nice. If I increase my leg press by 400 pounds I'm going to jump higher. Does that make it optimal?

This is the same guy who said half squats are useless because he did them for a month and increased his half squat but couldn't jump any higher, completely ignoring that neural adaptations were responsible for his gains and not muscle gains. The irony of this is he kisses Rippetoe's ass when Rippetoe's entire program is based on this concept. You think you actually put enough more muscle mass every 2 days to squat 5-10 more pounds? No, you're just getting used to/getting better at squatting.

^Why do you think doing upper body twice a week for an hour is going to take away from anything?

You will never have too much "useful" muscle mass unless you take steroids. None of you will ever get to Lebron's level of muscle mass.

If you don't care about taste you're better off making one with bulk ingredients on your own.

Creatine: 3-5g
Beta Alanine: 2-4g (best split into 2 doses a day but it doesn't matter)
Caffeine: 200-400mg
L-Citruline: 3g
L-Tyrosine: 1.5g-2g
Multi Vitamin

After that you can add more stimulants if you'd like. 1,3 dimethylamylamine is now banned in supplements but you can find it bulk. 40mg is a good dose. I'd only use this for weight lifting and not sports/running. It's also banned by some sporting federations (I don't think by the NCAA yet). Dendrobine and various forms of Phenylethylamine could be useful, but research isn't even close to being conclusive.

All of this won't really do that much, but if you want a preworkout this is the best you'll get.
