try to dunk off the dribble, you get greater momentum and you can jump easier

a long time ago i dunked and i tried to hang on the rim and i fell down...since then i was unable to hang on the rim after the dunk because i was afraid...now finally i managed to get rid of that fear, and here's just an easy result :)

thanks :)

try to do what i did in this video on that one 180 dunk... when you drive to the basket carry the ball in the one hand while in gather and jump like you're gonna dunk one handed (but with that 180 turn) and just the moment before the leap off grab the ball with the other hand too,so you should have bigger momentum because you had one hand free while you were in gather, and a bigger momentum mean bigger vertical :)
and another tip, don't try to hold the ball away from the body before jump. when you jump, then you put/swing the ball away from you(you put it above head obviously :D ),and it's inertia should bring you upwards a little bit, too.
hope i helped.
regards :)

it's not that hard to dunk reverse...since you're jumping off 2 feet, try to turn while on the ground, and as the time passes by try to turn more and more in air...and another tip: don't do it off the alley oop,it can be real frustrating if you can't manage to toss the ball at the right spot xD

i like to dunk reverses :) it's fun,i like those dunks when i turn around in the air(either a 180 or 360 :D )
but this wasn't even nearly my best...this was at about 8:30 a.m. and i came home that morning at 4 a.m. because i went to a concert with my friend...i don't know how i managed to gather some will and dunk for a while  ;D

try to jump a little further from the basket, because then you won't have to bend your back while in air.

Introduce Yourself / Re: hi there

yeah,yeah,the 360 guy :D
well,i run on stairs pretty much, and i do some easy plyometrics.
i work with jumping rope too, most of the time,i do single leg jumps.
i also do no arm hops from air alert, but that's the only exercise i do from that program.
my opinion is that there is no best jumping program. you must adjust exercises to your body.
and the most important exercise i do is dunking. whenever i go to the basketball court i get warmed up and dunk a lot. i also tried to learn the proper jumping technique and that helped me a lot.
