Didn't train on the weekend my diet was ok though. The main thing was that I didn't drink alcohol, which is really good. Been 14 days without drinking now  :)

Monday-
Diet- Ate McDonalds today but it's ok no point stressing about it.
Bodyweight- 79kg. I lost another kg this past week but once again I don't think I'm any leaner. I just feel like I'm losing water and muscle rather than fat. Perhaps I'm just being paranoid.

Leg Curl-
6 sets of 10 reps (starting from lighest to heaviest).

Front Squat-
60x3
80x3
95x1
102.5x1 almost failed this I don't know wtf is wrong with me.
85x4 this set was hard as well.
80x3 again it was hard. WEAK!

Dips-
I couldn't do dips today coz it was hurting my arms/elbows. This is the reason why I never used to do dips it's because they always end up huring my elbows/joints etc. Ended up doing this machine instead, which uses triceps.
80kgx16,17,18.

Pullups-
10x3
10kgx5x3

Treadmill-
24.5km/h 1 minutex2

Tuesday-

Bench-
barx8
60x8
90x1
100x1
107.5x1
95x5
92.5x5
90x5

Incline Bench-
20x10
27.5x6
32.5x3 don't know why but this was just a struggle.
22.5x10
17.5x10
15x10
10x10

Decided not to do any seated pressing today coz I was already fatigued.

Roman Chair Crunches-
33,30,24,24.

Pullups-
12, 10kgx6x3

I worked all day 9-5 the past 2 days and I'm working 7:30-5pm tomorrow at a labouring job loading washing machines, fridges, tv's etc. onto trucks and out of shipping containers etc. so I'm just gonna take the day off the gym 2moro since my body seems sore. This new diet isn't helping either but I actually looked pretty good in the gym for a change today as far as appearance wise goes. Strength wise sucks but I'd rather be lean and weak than fat and strong cause once I'm lean it'll be easier to stay lean and increase strength. entropy has convinced me  :P

Thursday-
Diet- It's going good. I felt like going to the pub after work yesterday coz it was soo hot and I was sweating the whole day but I had the willpower to avoid it. 17 days without drinking now :)

Sprints-
First time I've gone to the oval and run since October. I ran on Friday at this 60m race but that was just a spur of the moment decision coz I was scared of tearing my hamstring so I rationalized it by thinking if it's gonna tear I'd rather tear it in a race than just out by myself. In hindsight it probs wasn't a good idea to run and I didn't perform that good but it was just getting over that mental barrier that was in my head. Now that it's over I'm confident in my body again and I don't think I'm gonna injure anything anymore as long as I stretch and listen to my body.

Warm up- Lunges, High knees, butt kicks, stretching etc.
400m jog
60m- 2x
100m-1x

DB Lunges-
10x12x3

Row Machine-
10,20,30,40,50,60,70x9

Pullups-
13,10kg7x3

Roman Chair Crunches-
33,30,25,25.

Tuesday-
This eating healthy shit is fuking with my strength. I'm looking better, yet I'm getting weaker.  :pissed:
NEED TO EAT MORE!!!

Bench-
barx8
60x8
90x1
100x1
110x1 almost failed this.
97.5x3 last week I done 95x5 relatively easy but today it just felt awkward doing 97 for 3. Fkn hell.
95x3
90x3
I looked back at my journal from last year and my bench numbers are barely any better at this time now a year later. Only difference is now I'm like 5kg lighter and probs 2% bodyfat leaner.

Incline DB Bench-
20x10
27.5x6
32.5x4
25x10
20x10
15x10
12.5x10

Dip Machine-
60x10
70x10
80x10
90x10x2

Roman Chair Crunches-
33,31,26,26.

Rugby training- 2 hours mainly HIT and cardio stuff for conditioning.

No doubt one of the most difficult things to do is improve strength, whilst 'cutting/recomping' and increasing athleticism particularly as a natural. Sometimes I dream about how easy I'd make gains if the only thing I cared about was strength. I'd just become one of those gomad swilling, fat fuking, low bar squatting kunts that lets their weight balloon up to 300lbs so they can brag about their 315 bodyweight benchpress and about how much dedication it takes for them to force feed themselves double quarter pounders hourly.

how much technical practice do you plan to introduce for the sprinting?
Muscles are nonsensical they have nothing to do with this bullshit.

Honestly none. My problem is too much bodyfat and not enough strength. So basically I'm fat and weak, which is a terrible combination for speed. Until I rectify that there's not really much point focussing on technical practice especially when I don't have a coach or anybody to correct my technique in person.

I always get the shittest jobs (better than no jobs though). Brb uni degree. Brb only jobs I ever get hired for is labour. I got sick of working for that transport/moving company coz I was constantly walking around with a sore back and was struggling to have motivation to train because after lifting fridges and shit all day the last thing I felt like doing was going to the gym and lifting some more weights. Anyway I got offered a full time job at a meat factory so I've been working at the meat factory  for the past week. Pretty long hours I start at 5am each day and finish at 2-3pm each day but sometimes it goes longer like today I started at 4:30 am and only finished at 5:30 pm. Maybe 1 day i'll get an office job instead of offices just using me for work experience and never paying me shit but until than looks like I'm gonna be at this meat factory for a while.

Anyways training wise.

Wednesday-

DB Lunges-
12.5x12x3

Pullups-
12.5kg 5x3, 13

Row Machine-
8 sets of 9 reps

I lasted 26 days without drinking alcohol but that all ended last night on Australia Day. I resisted drinking all day when I went to the beach and a BBQ. Than I ended up going out to a pub and club and as soon as I got to the pub my willpower just crumbled and I ended up having 5 beers. My only saving grace was that I drove into the city so I couldn't get wasted coz I had to drive so after those beers I just drunk water for the rest of the night.
