wasn't sore when i woke up, but by the night, quads (especially vmo) were sore.

left calf/achilles a little sore.


jump rope:
- 3 minute intervals x 12, mostly 50-100 turns as fast as possible then rest 10 seconds/repeat
- then just walked around doing intervals, 50-100 turns as fast as possible

wanted to do some shadow boxing too but i was a bit burnt out.

had to stop cause of my achilles stinging..

1 hour 30 min jump rope workout.

Or maybe try biking or swimming or something? Rowing intervals? Just for a little bit to give your lower legs a break from all the impact.

ya well im just gonna keep rolling with it, alternating between all kinds of conditioning methods..  im a basket case.

calfs real sore from jump rope, but in a diff spot, this soreness is in the actual gastroc belly.

back still bugging a bit from that squat session in my old back injury area, so next session ill just go mad light like 45 lb or something, to see if it still bugs it.. its probably not from the weight, probably from the position.




2 hours of boxing defense/slips.

didn't wanna go outside and train, sore in lots of places.

anyway, went well, 2 hours of fun.. just watched tv / irc'd while i did it.

calfs sore.. but the tear didn't feel like it was there....................... little did i know.. more on that later.

so, I walk up to my park spot, and I start loosening up before the shadow boxing.. I see this car coming down the canal path, so I'm not going to start shadow boxing until it passes, who knows who is in it.. then I see lights flashing, so it's a cop.. so he's coming closer and closer, real slow, then he parks parallel to me.

So i'm like......................... fucking bleh.

Cop gets out of his car starts coming up to me.

I take off my ear phones and I go "hey whats up?".

So he goes: "Everything ok?"

I go: "Yea why?"

He goes: "Well I just saw you standing out here just wanted to make sure everything was alright" (lol)

So I go: "Ya im just getting ready to do some training, shadow boxing" <-- and as i say shadow boxing, i move my fists like I'm getting ready to punch, like, it was just a reflex that happened to the thought of shadow boxing..

SO WHEN I DID THAT

This fucker puts his hand on his gun and points at me and i immediately go

"NO no no dude chill hahaa it was just a reflex im about to do boxing training"

And he goes: "Ohhh ok ok well alright be safe"

So he walks off slowly and I'm cracking up but god damn that fucking reflex almost got me capped.



bwahaha.

scared ass cops.





shadow boxing:
- 8 rounds

2 mile run:
- felt fine

walked a bit to let calfs recover

4 mile run:
- felt good but calfs started tightening towards the end

shadow boxing:
- 5 rounds
- was pretty tired


when i was done with 5 rounds shadow boxing, my fucking calf tear felt nuts, out of nowhere................. so i had to walk home 2 miles.

i'm doing MFR right now, hardcore, trying to loosen that shit up.

ya, scared cops are the worst, i've actually had a gun pulled on me before (3+ years ago).. and many other run ins.. i guess when you train at night they freak out.
