goes for like 8 minutes, its worth it though

ya nice vid, some big monsters in that vid.. the narration is funny though, all this demon/grim reaper talk, these guys think they are so darkside.. LIFTING IS DARKSIDE!!!!!! affliction shirts etc.. i dno just find that side of lifting funny.

to me, lifting isn't darkside, it's crunk :D

peace

yah, a bit over the top maybe with the narration in the end, whats with that wierd barbell that looks like and giant upside 'U'? whats your opinion on stance? powerlifters seem to go wide as hell.
Current highest touch = 11'4" (37"-38")
Squat = 140kg x5
             160KgX1
Weight = 97kg
Height = 6'3"
Reach = 8'2"-8'3"

that bar is easier on their shoulders, plus it keeps the center of mass alot lower, has a much different feel to it.. safety squat bar is hard as hell man, i have one, squatting with it recruits so much core it's insane.. i'd imagine that bar would be pretty hard to squat with initially.

ya, that wide stance might be ok for them, but for us athlete it can be a bit risky... takes its toll on the hips for sure.. i definitely promote a more athletic stance.

peace man

ya for RVJ's, a good basketball shoe.. for SVJ's, track waffles feel very good, i prefer doing SVJ's in those.

never wore kobe's, but i imagine they are real nice.. all i hear about them is good stuff.. the shoe i love jumping in is nike solo flight's.

nice.. they are one of the best shoes ive jumped in, i really prefer them.. ive never jumped in kobe's though.

for $50US thats pretty cheap, thanks for the info, i have two pairs left that have in tact soles.. i have to be careful because if i dribble like i normally do in them, on pavement, it would tear a hole in them quick, something about the way i move my feet... so im sticking to jumpers/jumps, but when i do need a new pair $50 aint bad.

i have 5 pairs right now haha, only two are usable.

thanks ESAV!!!!! i did some good jumps for u today :F

5/23/2010

last night, horrible night of sleep, something gave me acid reflux, i think it was those mini bananas.. anyway i kept waking up every 30 minutes feeling like i was going to puke.. horrible..

anyway, woke up feeling very light, 157.. post workout today i was 154 haha!

basketball stuff:
- went to one court, but it was crowded, so went to another, court was so slippery.. i hate going to that court..
- anyway, i was flying... i had to slow down my runup/plant a little different, so i think i could have gotten up a few inches higher for sure, no joke..
- all misses but they were hard misses

here's a still frame, camera angle is low because i used my mini tripod, when there's a bunch of people at the court i'd rather not use my huge tripod, as that makes it look like im about todo some insane shit which im not hah..... so ya there's some camera angle but honestly i was getting up great:
