i rested for ~5 days to get my calves back on track. i jacked them up like an idiot so just rested until they were good. nice. felt normal today.

a new knife should arrive tmw. excited. it's not really a knife, it's a "pocket sword".... lmfao.

run:
- 1 hour / light
- felt great
- no calf tightness

yea sux.

woke up this morning with a "wet eye" (tears). seems like it's trying to clean something out.

seems less blurry, but still a bit painful so dno.

eye almost 100%.. crazy how much damage was done (not emergency level, but still...)

should be back to normal tmw. painful to touch is basically gone. intermittent blurriness is almost gone.

don't get stung in the eye! imagine if it was a wasp/bee tho.. i could have been wrecked.

haven't run in 3 days, letting the eye heal.

aches/injuries = low back the last few days - odd.

will probably run sat/sun, pre/post tropical storm/hurricane.

pc!

bw = 144
soreness = calves (alot)

tried making some moves to get a dope home, but seller won't budge on their (way too high) price. they've been doing this for 5 years too, sucks. just a winter home for them so really nothing any1 can do, except throw big cash at them. and that's what they want. they know the appraisal will be considerably lower.. so they are just waiting for some rich equestrian folks to buy up the lot. :ffffffuuuuuu: :ffffffuuuuuu: :ffffffuuuuuu:

i'm so stubborn w/ home buying. only have two locations i like, and then only a few locations within those locations. reminds me of vert/running etc.. just so fixated on exactly what i want. but with this stuff, you need the $$.. eeeh.

frustrating :d

man i love my new knife.. this thing is crazy lethal. that grip on it puts you in serious attack mode.

bw = 145
soreness = not much

run:
- ~40 min
- light but a little faster

going to pick up the pace slightly / drop the duration & increase the frequency (hopefully), for the next few weeks.

so much for frequency..

2020-08-06

just saw a gator out back in the canal. impressive how those things don't flinch/take off when you throw rocks at them etc. just tried to get it to take off, couldn't do it. it did a few slow creeps to various hiding spots but it never took off.

no idea how big it is.. doesn't seem too huge. never know though.

this place is fence in so not really worried about it. wanted it to go find another spot tho. ;f

went to check out that property with my dad.

7.8 acres (8 acres). absolutely nuts. home is completely renovated too.

guy who bought it in january, is an airlines pilot.. so he's been mostly out of work since covid - seemingly wants to recoup this money, since this is a second home. so he's looking to try and sell fast.

he showed my father & I the property for like 2 hours - even after knowing my offer which is 50k less than what he wanted. 99% sure they will accept my offer.

posting a ton of photos to imgur for my aunt to see .. so will link that album here later.

property is absolutely nuts.

so much good running right near by too -> 3 state parks surrounding this community. fucking crazy.

ps: gator in the lake too.. property has it's own lake (not a pond, it's enormous.. LMFAO).

gator was coming up to us.. looking for food apparently.. because the owner feeds it "bread" lol.
