I just watched the clottey pacquiao highlight fight and I don't understand why people as well as you feel clottey performed bad against pacquiao, is it because he did too much defense and less offence, if so did people actually think if he was more offensive he stands a chance against Manny Pacquiao. For me joshua always fights close defence so I think he could have been more offensive like against cotto but I don't see him standing much chance from not being knocked out it was his strategy to tire manny out who would punch his gloves a lot of time.

nah.. it's not that he performed bad.. it's that he could have done much better. Clottey is extremely skilled and had a great style to put up against pacquiao. He didn't do enough.

was the site down today? Some weird shit going on with cloudns.net

ran tonight. ran 2 nights ago.

A nice simple read:
- Why functional programming matters :http://worrydream.com/refs/Hughes-WhyFunctionalProgrammingMatters.pdf

also, found this while searching for one of the references:

A functional approach to memory-safe operating systems: http://www.pdx.edu/computer-science/sites/www.pdx.edu.computer-science/files/Leslie.pdf

looks interesting.. wish i could read that in a few hours and understand it. How to become an alien?

failed to attempt my bigger distance goal.. was very tired.

also, going to stop running in vibram's for a while.. my feet ache a bit too much lately during/after runs.

going to use my new balance minimus trails..

~3.5mi run
- slow/tired but the run itself felt comfortable for my feet

my nbmt's provide more cushion + i'm using thick socks.. vibram's = no socks. These nbmt's have a vibram sole so it's not like they are that much thicker. I bet alot of it has to do with the socks ;f
