will log tmw even though I have most of it written up.. it's just way too late (or early).

this picture kinda sux but it was very good.. that white couscous turned 'red' from teh beets.

worked on these two repos today:
- https://github.com/adarqui/haskell-todomvc-frontend

I'm supposed to implement query params before i finish this example.. but i really just want to get back to trying to port my purescript app to haskell. I worked on this example app today just to get more familiar with react-flux. I like react-flux alot.

The example TodoMVC app handles ui routing, ajax to a backend, and the client-side "mvc" structure using react/flux... Tomorrow I should be able to get back to the forum app.

who knows though, my brain is definitely tired. :F

oh, also.. i'm so as FUQ.. hamstrings/adductors are just wrecked.. 2 x 10 squat with 135 = broke me.. jaja.. was kind of intended though, need to rest my ankle/elbow :/

pc!

wokeup 3pm
148 lb
hamstrings/adductors crazy sore
tired

1: greek yogurt, green tea
2: cereal + milk + honey, tons of fruit, milk, biscotti
3: 3 x wheat bread with peanut butter, milk

worst journaling ever.

been focused on porting the old purescript app over to haskell.. made tons of progress today, but mostly with ui routing. spent lots of time working on that.. so far so good.

https://github.com/adarqui/ln-ui/blob/master/test/LN/UI/Router/Class/Routes2Spec.hs

basically need to get ALL of my old routes built/parsing before I can move on to the next phase.. building components. Just need my url structure to re-emerge so i can reason about things better. Once I get this done tomorrow, then i need to get my first ajax implemented to grab the logged in user.. probably need to make another lib similar to haskell-api-helpers but for the ghcjs ajax stuff. shouldn't be too crazy though, probably get that done in a few hours.. dno tho.

going to be writing alot more tests now too hopefully.. since it's alot easier/friendlier with my favorite libraries.

injuries = left ankle slightly (lateral malleolus), right knee scrape
standing desk (when on computer): none

- almond joy
- greek yogurt

Food

5 PM

- 2 x wheat toast with peanut butter
- beet + tart cherry juice
- green tea

Session: Evening

run: ~1.5 mi .. in who cares time.. cramped up bad
- first mile was ~7 min

high volume lifting:

half squat:
- 45 lb. x 10
- 45 lb. x 10
- 135 lb. x 15
- 135 lb. x 20
- felt good.. legs can handle 135 pretty easy.. just need to stay here for a while and get some power back

- 5 scrambled eggs
- 2% milk
- brie and crackers

Food

3 AM

i forgot to mention.. a few days ago after my run/jump/sprint/lift session.. i stretched the hell out of my left ankle/quad, and dug deep into my peroneals. feels waaaay better the last few days. Hopefully that bit of magic worked. If I manage to fall asleep tonight and eventually wakeup before the sun sets, i'd like to get some jumps in and maybe get some video footage. dno tho.

oh man this was good af. first time i've "heated up cherries" and it was amazing. those cherries were "hot" and would just explode with juicyness when you'd bite into them. only warmed them up for ~30 seconds and placing them on the stir fry kept them warm.

haven't done this in a long time.. bunch of jump pics! i'll probably upload a video one of them to my old adarqtv account.

also, i really need to figure out how to record on my phone.. i think it's the autofocus which is wrecking things. Need to see if it's enabled.. because, basically as I run into view and jump etc, it does all of this weird zoom in/out/blur stuff. Need to fix that next time. Several of the clips were blurry as hell.

didn't jump as good as last session.. probably ~1" lower. but jumped pretty good.

i remember this being my favorite jump:

Food

7 PM

- 2% milk + 2 tspn coffee + honey

Session: Evening

8:30 PM

- jumps:
- warmup
- ~25 L-SLRVJ jumps: max ~10'8 maybe 10'9
- LR-DLRVJ: max ~10'6
- right leg tightened up during warmup jumps.. squatting wrecking my quads.. good sign

got in some decent jumps, pics above

MR half tuck jumps:
- 1 x 20, 1 x 20, 1 x 30
- really good, decent bounce

half squat:
- 45 lb. x 15
- 135 lb. x 10
- 135 lb. x 30
- happy with that set.. wanted to do some more sets but it was raining hard, and lightning.. not smart to be in a power rack while it's lightning.

Food

11 PM

- big stir fry: grilled chicken, 1 potatoe, 2 carrots, 1 broccoli, serrano pepper, red chili pepper, kalamata olives, one big turmeric, olive oil, cherries/goat cheese at the end
- 1/2 cup whole wheat couscous

was sooo good.. pics above

Food

6 AM

- greek yogurt

legs feel pretty wrecked.. got in some great coding today.. really going good right now, very happy about it. working on getting "organizations" added back into the app (index, new, update, delete, view) etc.. once i do that, then i need to do the same thing for forums, boards, threads, and thread posts.. then i also need likes/stars, and pm's. that'll probably take a week or more.. once that's done, i'll be almost back to where I was when i left off on the other app.

so things are starting to move a little quicker.. stuff is taking shape.

i'm going to include less features than i had before, just to get this thing closer to the "first useable version".. since i've had to re-write iti n haskell, i've lost alot of time.. so those features can come back later.

I really love this Loading technique I created for the new app:

03:15 < let> o man i just came up with such a sexy Loading solution for the app.. loving it
03:18 < let> it's all based on this simple data type
03:18 < let>  data Loader a
03:18 < let>    = Loaded a
03:18 < let>    | Loading
03:18 < let>    | CantLoad
03:19 < let> so i make things like.. Loader (Maybe Users) ..... anything I wrap in Loader I can pattern match on to either, render HTML or display the Loading spinner
03:19 < let> or an error message if it cant be loaded
03:19 < let> lul
03:19 < let> sexy as fuck
03:26 < let> so when i initialize a component, everything is "Loaded empty", then, when I mount a component, I set everything to Loading, then, as I pull in resources from the store, via ajax etc.. I set things to "Loaded .."
03:26 < let> it's srsly sexy as fuck
03:29 < let> https://github.com/adarqui/ln-ui/blob/master/src/LN/UI/App/Loading.hs#L22

You still have the same form in the air, with your body position, as you had when you were jumping off two.
