You're crazy, Andrew. ;D
Take some time to recover after this. You'll need it.

ya im not doing anything until friday... on friday ill just do rfi/simple stuff...

i'll probably do 4x10 from ~16-18" box on sunday.

ya so far so good tho.. icing helped both of my aches die down..

i can definitely feel the stress on my entire body though.. muscles/tendons/bone..

15% dropoff is just crazy though when getting a good amount of rest... i mean that was true drop off, i would have kept getting worse and worse until injury... cns was in shutdown mode.

peace man

- right before sleep: 169 lb. <-- damn!

right ankle not bugging as bad as immediately after shock.. still some stinging on the bone.

did close to 100 jumps throughout the day.. all sub max but pretty high, in track shoes.. around 20-22" or so because at 24" i'd hit my head on the cieling.

practiced alot of jumps out of a low squat..

i have no idea why im jumping as much as i am today.. it's weird.

dunks tomorrow hopefully.

peace

Stop being a dumbass. ;D

Knock off the jumping for a little while and don't you dare do a dunk session tomorrow. Give the ankle at least another day to try and heal up. Trust me on this one. I don't want to see you injured again.

i did this stuff during high frequency squat.. always had good pop after doing lots of jumps/ankle jumps randomly throughout the day..

Jeez, you've got to find some hobbies so you can get a rest.  Try taking up video games or something and give your ankles a break every once in a while.  Haha, you were supposed to take Thursday off for recovery and ended up doing 100 jumps before doing this workout the next day.

ok, so i go to sleep at 3am... my dad comes running in and wakes me at 6am.. grandpa having chest pains.

- goto hospital, find out he's fine most likely, dad stays there i go home to get a few more hours sleep
- sleep 3 more hours
- get called, dad needs help, go to hospital
- dont eat anything for 3 hours, no water either
- feeling woozy
- finally down a big coffee drink w/ whey protein
- then get a bagel & some water
- right achilles/ankle hurting, annoying me
- legs feel like jello
- go home at 6, rest for 1 hour, go to dunk
- right calf cramping up during warmup
- getting angry
- dunk real good
- split squat ADA session after dunks
- left hamstring insertion bugging a bit

damn.

Results or no, you're still being dumb. You're beat to hell and jumping 38". Imagine what you could do if your body was actually functioning...Would you train another athlete this way?

That having been said, kickass job out there. I wish I had half your drive, just not if it came with half your hardheadedness. ;D

Keep pushing it to the limits, Andrew. But for God's sake, take a break every once in a while.

doing nothing today...

but damn are my glutes sore.. surprising how sore they are.. quads keep spazzing out..

hamstring tendon injury has been letting me know its there the last week or so.. and today i feel it slightly more than in the last week.. i really have to make sure it doesn't "razorblade" on me.. this is one annoying injury that seems like it will never go away.. i must have really torn that tendon bad.

hopefully today's resting, and my static stretching of my hamstrings/adductors keeps it in check.. thats what ive been doing since i re-injured it a few months ago.. it might pull it a bit, but, it keeps it from pulling to the point where it razorblade's on me.

was pretty dead today.. glutes still very sore

- 5 40 yard sprints
- single leg bounds each leg (10/20 yards)
- vert: 27.2"
- 18" depth jump: stopped, hit a wall.. i think the sprint/bounds killed me.. i mean i jumped 24" off the 18" box.. wtf
- big depth drops @ 4x5
- pullups

- right shin splint
- hamstrings very sore
- quads VERY sore
- glutes still sore
- back tight

- basketball dribbling mixed in with very light submax dunk attempts off dribble
- hit 1 hard dribble up dunk with a ~90% jump.. was kinda shocked.. i thought i'd be completely stale on my jumps today if i tried any..

tomorrow if my quads / shin splint feels ok, im going to do some big big self-lob dunks..

peace
