I'd have to stand by you on this one man. ($ick3nin.v3nd3tta)

Short term the body can withstand just about any source of fuel, but long term you're really going to be impairing a lot of systems by not eating properly. And we all know that real progress is made over long periods of time.

It's not rocket science however. Protein. Carbohydrates. Fats. + Vitamins and Minerals. All have their purposes: protein for a more athletic physique, carbohydrates for...energy duh. And fats, (not all of 'em) actually have good cardiovascular properties. Just eat plenty of water and try to base your diet on everything whole. Not always possible, and it's alright, but if you're going to buy your own stuff at a grocery store, make sure to buy quality stuff. And it's not like it'll cost you a lot more.

Personally, I feel like nutrition is slowly being snubbed, when it's in fact the key for consistency. IMO.

oh and just like that, nothing wrong with mcdonalds (or fastfood) to me, especially not the burgers on the value menu.

Lots of sugar is not good, just as lots of fat, protein or any given nutrient taken in excess isn't good. If you repeated the same experiments which he cites with any given macro or micro nutrient those cells would die off fairly quickly and would show a whole host of funny responses. And for what it's worth lots of elite athletes eat like shit - they need to eat alot as they expend alot of energy due to the fact that , you know, they're professional athletes. That doesn't make it a good idea - but yeah, you don't have much of a point there.

Also I think i'm a little bit more qualified to interpret scientific research than you as a) i've experience in metabolic and nutritonal research and b) it's my job. So I can tell you with full confidence that no it did not tell you that it was making you fatigued. You came to that conclusion by a combination of misinformation and a lack of of knowledge in the area.

As for Adarq's training - it's not perfect - nobodies training is perfect but the dude has as consistent results as anybody here so I don't think theres much to criticize.

Let me hit you with this then: Nutrition is overrated and is invented to sell supplements and for vegan people to act all superior. How about this?

Can you tell which elite athlete(s) eats lots of sugar, chocolate & junk?.

Flu-reference made you look real silly btw.

Not really.

Your burdening your body & immune system.

Flooding cells in a petri dish with non-physiological levels of fructose doesn't tell you anything useful.

It told me it was giving me fatigue.

3 cadbury egg pictures, in honor of the 3 cadbury eggs i've eaten today.

you'd be surprised how many "elite athletes" eat junk, just look at the majority of the nfl.. most of those insanely athletic db's, WR',s RB's, etc, eat lots of stuff we'd consider junk.. fried foods, sweets, etc.

as for my diet, i rarely eat junk.

they need to eat alot as they expend alot of energy due to the fact that , you know, they're professional athletes.

Right.

Great excuse to just eat crap then because, ("Athletes" burn energy).

And for what it's worth lots of elite athletes eat like shit. - they need to eat alot as they expend alot of energy due to the fact that , you know, they're professional athletes. That doesn't make it a good idea - but yeah, you don't have much of a point there.

You need to give me names?. I'm talking about thoroughbred athletes, not your Shaq's, not your Ronnie Colemans etc.

So I can tell you with full confidence that no it did not tell you that it was making you fatigued. You came to that conclusion by a combination of misinformation and a lack of of knowledge in the area.

I ain't got any confidence in you.

Eating just chocolate makes you sick & fatigued. No two ways round it.

as for my diet, i rarely eat junk.

So what do you eat for breakfast?.

when i interned at perfect-competition, during that nfl combine period, guys running 4.3's were addicted to junk food.. they were put on meal plans which took all of that stuff out, but they were still the same ole` 4.3 guys on really healthy meal plans etc.

every one of those nfl combine guys ate bad, normally.. for example, in college.. lots of fried foods... all of them were insanely powerful/strong.

i like to eat clean mostly, but, when i dose up on chocolates/fried chicken, i feel really strong lmao.. just puts too much weight on me, or i'd do it more often. :F

It's just that you got the recommended 8 hours of sleep & still felt highly fatigued.

Why tt stand raptor?

Coming frm others I would second-guess the guy, whether hes just tryin to make a point or being sarcastic.
But you, I think u truly mean it.

I dun eat too clean, but I dun eat junk food all day. I think going crazy on macs would be insane tho, and I think it's not just calories in Vs out.

i got 8 hours sleep but went to sleep at 7am, it wrecked me, i've been going to sleep around 4-5 am for a few weeks, so 7am was a stretch.. and i wanted to keep sleeping, i had to wakeup though.

8 hours sleep isn't usually enough though for me, i feel my best on 10 hours sleep.

OK!.

All I'm saying is if you still feel fucked after getting some good nights sleep, it could be related to the high sugar/chocolate intake.

I'm certain it starts to work against some people after a while.

Fruit is good for you but its high in natural sugar. Too much intake & you will get candida. Well candida is pure fatigue, the most horrible condition I have ever dealt with. Couldn't hardly get out of bed. Easy cure, cut way back on intake.
