Got the keys to a local school gym so I can train pretty much whenever now!!! Kick ass.

Nice man!
 :goodjobbro:
Warm up drills
   - a walk, b skip quick powerful switch (heel to hams focus), a runs, dribbles small to big to run, straight leg to runs (force, reflex, go up/forward). force to hit the ground before it hits the ground knee/hip is at 90 degrees.
   - acceleration: low heel recovery, shin angle low, drive legs back before hitting the ground and drive thighs/knee forward not up
-------------------------------------------------------------
Measuring reminder:
5 toe to heel steps = 148cm

Strength comes from the legs, Power comes from the torso and Speed comes from the arm. Al Vermeil
Arm also aids the legs in driving it down with power - seifullaah73

my envy knows no bounds. anytime access to a basketball court...does not exist anywhere near me.

Its not really 24/7 since school functions come first but its damn close! Hopefully my skills session stiff will improve dramatically with increased court time.

yeah i mean i work during the day so school hours are irrelevant. but i would kill for accessible court access at 10-11 PM.

Yea, that's my plan basically. Its hard when all the local gyms close at 9, almost impossible if I have anything I need to do after work. Im a night owl anyway, starting at 10-11 is perfect!

9am Monday Aug 25 2014

BW: 182.8lbs
Down on energy a little, early for me lol!

-10 min on stationary+dynamic warmup+jumps

-squats!
(Warmup) b135x5, b225x3, b315x1, b365x1 (parallel, grrr).
(Worksets) b315x5, b315x5, b315x4, b225x8. Moved to 315s, bit of a struggle, didnt even attempt rep 5 on set 3. Something to work on!

-hypers
45lbs: x10, x10, x10

-paused calf raise on leg press
550lbs: x12, x12, x12. Last set was hard. ROM may not have been full from reps 9-12. :/

-step ups
120lbs: 3 sets of 10 per leg.

Added light weight back to my core routine, felt good! Nice session!

Went and played full court ball for 2 hours, fully expected to be slightly sore after yesterdays lifting but I wasn't, in fact, I felt very bouncy. Sure enough, halfway through the second game I cross a guy at the top of the key and the help side was a little late. I said screw it if they wanna block me im damn well going for the dunk! Boom. Two hander on dude. Felt freaking amazing!!! Everyone left with about 15 mins left so I did a mini jump session since I felt good. Got some vid I'll upload later after editing it down but for now....quick screen capture from it!

Best part: I weighed myself right before I left the house to play, 181.5lbs! So cant wait to be solidly in the 170s!

Wed Aug 27 2014

Did back/bicep/core work. Woke up with a sore right shoulder, may have been how I slept but I'll be paying attention to it since its rotator cuff area.

And here's my professionally edited  vid from Tuesday lol! Had a slight tweak on the 360 attempt landing, awkward, but feels ok.  :headbang:
