Edit: fuck. I wrote out the edit...didnt save. Cliff notes...check last monday squat workout. Failed 345 once and re tried,  got it. Bodyweight was shitty, energy was worse, just frustration.  Not good for focusing on weights. Got a good quad pump tho somehow and made me smile a little. Warmup jumps were surprising,  very bouncy. Must be loss of bw. Was getting ~30-31" of a~18" depth jump.

Annnnd it deleted original post lol! Oh well. It was a depressing post.

same here, I hope everything works out.
Warm up drills
   - a walk, b skip quick powerful switch (heel to hams focus), a runs, dribbles small to big to run, straight leg to runs (force, reflex, go up/forward). force to hit the ground before it hits the ground knee/hip is at 90 degrees.
   - acceleration: low heel recovery, shin angle low, drive legs back before hitting the ground and drive thighs/knee forward not up
-------------------------------------------------------------
Measuring reminder:
5 toe to heel steps = 148cm

Arm also aids the legs in driving it down with power - seifullaah73

Thanks guys. Im trying to keep my head up its just every day is so much harder than the last. I did go lift last night, didnt want to but I made myself. I'll update this post later with the workout.

That's good man.
It's hard to stay positive but the best thing you can do is be around friends and keep yourself occupied with basketball, gym, and work etc. otherwise you'll dwell on shit and become even more depressed.
Women can be ruthless. My ex took my car, my tv, furniture, and pretty much everything in that house was mine. That's just material shit luckily I don't have kids but if they got taken away from me I'd be frustrated as well and would be doing anything I can to get them back.

I don't know what it's like in the US but in Aus the court system is bullshit. Takes years and years to get outcomes and usually favors women but hopefully in your case you get a quicker outcome and a favorable one at that.

Peace

Thanks for the thoughts and support guys, means a lot. Sadly my bw is down to 174 now. Not how I envisioned getting here. I have to force myself to eat some not just pick at shit. Gna make it through this and somehow I'll be better for it.

173 today. Went and played and was lights out. Couldnt miss at all. Moves were crisp. Handle was tight. Had 3 different guys "broke", so bad he was 6 foot away and facing the basket while I was shooting the triple. Gah. Wish I could play like this all the time!!!

Had two dunks.  First was weak...backdoor easy one hander. 2nd was much better. Clean baseline two hander.

Bad thing is I landed on someones foot next game. Pretty sure its a mild sprain. Was able to play on it but its sore sore sore now that im cooled down. Ice for sure.

Good news, I know some of you all have said I make jumping look 'easy' well at 173 it FEELS easy. So quick off the floor today. :)

Today was fun. Had to go to the doctor for a routine checkup and I guess the combination of my nerves, not eating and my absolute fear of needles came to a perfect head....passed the hell out while having blood drawn. Super weird feeling.

Got bored/lonely at the house so I said to hell with it and wrapped my ankle and went to just shoot around....wrong. gym was packed. Ended up playing 3 games and played very well again. Once warm the ankle feels fine, cuts, jumping, accel/decel all feel good. Still sore once im cooled off and put just the right amount of pressure in the wrong direction tho. So more ice. Just figured id update. Don't think its too bad since I could move and play on it.

Don't push it, I know the temptation to play even when you barely can is high but it is imperative to stay conservative.
Heal it well, the risk of re-injury for a couple of pickup games is just not worth it.

it's the biggest trick in the run game.. go slow to go fast. it doesn't make sense until it smacks you in the face and you're like ....... wtf?

Yea somewhere in my head I know that. I just get sucked in when there's a game being played. Sigh. Doesn't help that I dont want to sit around the house lol! Ive been icing it 2x daily and doing some stretches through out the day and it seems to be responding decently.  Definitely feels better this morning.  Im hoping by next weekend to be near 100% if not all the way recovered.

Didnt get to lift or play yesterday due to life stuff. Good news tho...im sitting here watching tv with my princess!!!! So thankful!

Played today to check the ankle/foot. Feels fine. BW is up to 176-178ish. Gta watch the food intake. But...game was good today. Jumper was money. And was really flying it felt like. Easy dunks between games even off a 'hop' instead of a max jump. Soo damn close to a pump reverse off the dribble. I can taste it. Windmills off dribble are becoming more frequent but still rare. Had a MONSTER facial in one game. Ended the game for about 10 mins lol! Loose ball scramble and I came up with it at the top of the key, defender just off the block was about 6'1 and id seen him trying to dunk before so I knew I had to get up. Two dribbles and got UP. Big one hander and the foul as he tried to push me away from the rim with his off hand, other hand only got up to about my elbow. No chance. Kinda surprised I controlled it as hard as I dunked it. :D

No lie. Id rate it over any other dunk ive ever had. Windmills, reverses, the one 360 I got real clean...all of them. Just because it was in game and I dunked it hard. I was stunned for a second lol! Every time I try to dunk that hard I back iron it or something. Guess the game adrenaline added some inches lol!

Had a mini 45 minute dunk session this morning.  Gym had no heat...left sweats and hoodie on and still barely broke a sweat. :/ destroyed my right middle finger on the rim with about 10 mins left so I tried a bunch of simple left handed dunks. Ended up getting a couple cleanly. :)
