Update.....Im not dead. :) Pec is healed up I believe so tonight I'll hit a light chest workout, maybe some back. Just do something. Ive got 2.therapy sessions this week on the knee. Its progressing slowly. Kind of a 3 steps forward, 1 step back deal but overall looking better. Super high rep, low weight stuff in limited ROM seems to be helping it as is thr deep tissue A-stim work and, imo most importantly, the electro-stim. Since we've started electrical 'shock' therapy it seems to have had a pronounced affect. Quite tolerable progress so far. Really hopeful I can start squatting and deadlifting in a week or so!

Also mildly curious what type of SVJ and RVJ Ive been able to maintain/lose during all this. Plan to test it before I lift heavy again.

Decided Id BS around and start back light.

Squat: 135 x10, 225 x5, 315 x1, 225 x5, 135 x10. All paused. No pain altho the 315 felt weird, not hard just slighlty unstable?

Leg extensions: 25lbs SL x30, 55lbs SL x10, 115lbs x10.
Ham curl: 25lbs SL x30, 55lbs SL x10, 115lbs x10
Calf raises: 360lbs x10, x10, x10.

No jumps, no core. Feels good so far. We'll see how it reacts tomorrow.

Did a thing today....went and jumped.

Therapist cleared me friday to lift light and shoot some jumpers and stuff with semi strict instructions not to push it.... soooo....

lifted back/biceps, did some rehab lifting (light, high rep knee stuff) and went to the court. warmed up a little woth some jumpers and said fuck 8t, im dunking the 9 and a half foot goal. Knee was sore-ish on takeoff and had very mild pain on landings. After a few jumps tho it subsided so I ventured to 10 foot. I can still dunk buty timing on lobs and stuff is wayyy off. Guessing max vert now is right around 40-41 at best. Not bad for wekks and weeks off! Took a few vids, will upload later. Much stretching to do now.

i'm actually curious too, believe it or not.. I used to use adobe after effects, but, unless I buy a copy, not going to be pir8'n it. I remember youtube's video editor was somewhat decent, kind of like iMovie: https://www.youtube.com/editor

Did a little leg work last night.

BW at 184lbs. Knee is sore to begin with and comes and goes

Squats: bar x10, 135 x10, 225 x5, 315 x1, 325 x1, 315 x1, 225 x5, 135 x10. All paused to save some wear on the knee. 325 paused was moderately hard and shows how far I have to go. Pre knee shit 365 paused felt like this.

Dod some super light weigh lunges, high rep calf raises, some leg extensions and very little core work and called it a night. Dont want to push too hard too quickly.

Yea :/ Ive definitely lost a bunch of inches and explosiveness. That said...the day after this i could barely walk as my knee felt like it was on fire all damn day. Tons of ice and stretching made it bearable.

60 hours after that tho I was able to do PC exercises with virtually no pain or discomfort. All the way up to a 405lb deadlift (that felt good surprisingly, probably had 425 in me) and some moderately heavy ham curls. So idk whats going on, at this point Im just like, fuck it, its going to get better or Im going to die trying.

Tried to squat again...results were, interesting.

Warmed up and stretched lightly and felt good. Tried a box jump, slight jolt of pain but nothing debilitating. So I continue on to the leg extension machine to finish warmingup the muscles surrounding my knee (this HAD been working wonders with high rep, low weight stuff). Yea, no go on that. Knee is on fire. So I said fuck it Im squatting, this isnt getting any better so its got two options: break or get better.

Bar x10 (no weight so no pain), 135 x8 (discomfort, no pain per se), 225 x3 (slight pain), 315 x1 (holy fuck! knee feels like it should fall off!), so i loaded up 365 for a single and went for it. Got it, more effort than I'd have liked but!  ...it didn't hurt. at all. did 3 triples at 315 and no pain there either.  Im so lost with this thing lol

Did some 20 rep calf raises and some 12 rep leg extensions and had no pain either. Called it a night. Feels ok this morning, definitely not like last week. So....good news overall even if i dont understand it!
