Lmaoooo! Actually....I hate feet. Im always in socks, preferably shoes as well. I was typing that while wrenching on the 'race car' (was de-pinning connectors on the ECU patch harness and fabbing the tubular subframe braces last night after the game, great way to unwind) and I've always referred to the car as a her, guess it my frame of mind bahahahaha!

As for the foot, it seems ok? Minor swelling that's mostly gone this morning.  I have full ROM but it's popping a lot now. No pain, just constantly popping. Weird.

What's up with people hating feet? I've heard this before, men hating other men's feet (seeing them etc). What's up with that?

Idk. I just don't like feet. I guess they aren't aesthetically pleasing to me? Its not that I can't be around them or demand people put socks on lol

Well, we lost in the second round. Correction, we got annihilated.  137-106. Yea it hurt. They hit us in the mouth to open the game and it was 18-0 before we knew what happened. We battled back to 40-35 but they went on another run just before halftime and it was 64-44 at the break. I told the guys we weren't going down like this so I came out and hit 4 consecutive 3s to open the second half and we were down 70-56 but they we're just to big. Their front line went 6'7", 6'5", 6'2". Ughh. Our tallest guy was only 6 foot even lol! Other than scoring a metric fuck ton of points in the second the only decent almost highlight was when I jumped over their bigs for a putback attempt. My trex hands lost the handle and I back ironed it but not before someone in the stands yelled 'oh SHIT' lol! So...seasons over. Didn't end like I wanted but it is what it is. Depending on when the next league starts I may play, I need to get some dedicated weight room time first though and get healed up 100%.

That said....

Friday May 23 2014
BW: 180-182lbs.
Energy/Motivation: Through the roof. Glad to be back hitting the weights.

Dynamic warmups and some jumps

Deadlifts:
(Warmup) 135×5, 225×5, 275×1, 325×1
(Work set) 275×5, 275×5, 275×5, 225×8.

Hangclean:
95×3, 135×3, 155×1, 155×1. I don't like my catch point on the 155s, it feels like im slightly knees in. Will have to vid and see. Good start though.

Was planning on doing an assistance circuit but only got one set of ham curls and a set of seated calf raises (definitely hits a different spot than my normal calf raises!!! Weak af on these! Time to remedy that...) before I had to leave. Had to take the lady to the hospital,  apparently she has a form of blood poisoning from a cut on her foot. So I did some ab work at the hospital lol! Hoping we can go home tonight or in the morning as shes on some strong antibiotics.

Also, planning on splitting workouts into 4 sessions: deadlifts and assistance (fri?),  back/bi's(tues), chest/tri's (thurs) and squats/assistance lifts (mon?). Will sprinkle core workout throughout each exercise and probably get some bball skills work in 2-3x a week. Thats the plan for the forseeable future at least (August-ish).

Wow. Big update lol

A few things:

1) The reason for your knee cave-ins on the power cleans might be the lack of foot dorsiflexion, and you're compensating for that by letting your knees go in and allowing you to catch the bar lower. Something to think about;
2) The seated calf raises train the soleus muscle;
3) I wouldn't do cleans after a high volume of deadlifts

Good point on the dorsiflexion, I've been working it every day and its almost back to where it was pre injury. I think I may have been catching it slightly forward as well.

The seated calf raises felt great lol! Going to try and push them hard on deadlift day and keep my usual calf raises to squat day.

I didnt go too hard on the deads, I'll experiment with putting cleans first next week. Thanks!

Couldn't sleep at the hospital=drove 45 minutes to the 24/7 gym with a court. Got an hour long skills session in. Worked on some new counters off the cross over and spin moves and hammered the single dribble mid range j until it felt smooth. Went well for 3am. Jumped, correction, tried jumping afterward but hams are straight jelly. DOMS for real lol! Got one dunk off the dribble and maybe 3 cleanly off lobs. Weaksauce.

So you actually train at a hospital with a loved one sick? I would just be completely out and just focus and worry about her/him.

Yea I left, she'd been telling me too for hours, she's very independent. Her best friend was with her and she's stabilized so I wasn't worried. Not too mention she said she slept better without me there, I make too much noise moving around in that chair she says. If she wasn't stable and recovering I would have never left for sure.
