I'll be experimenting with a full body split (2x/wk). It's hard finding time to care about training right now, focused on other things.

BB SQUAT - 225 - 3x10
CALF - 270 - 3x12
CORE

I didn't hit upper today because I had a light upper body session yesterday, prior to deciding on a full body split. I planned on hitting another sl lift but my legs were dead after those squats; I haven't squatted in months and have been mia from the gym for the past few weeks. I don't expect much soreness but we'll see..

I still have a ton of soreness despite the "light" session. I have been stretching a ton though. The soreness is mainly in the quads and inner thigh, there is some muscle soreness in the lower back as well which worries me... I am either going to ditch squats completely (for now), drop the weight a ton (even though I already have) and work on form, or hit easy triples on the strength day and hit some other sl lift on the high-volume day.

train through the soreness. feeling squats in your lower back isn't necessarily bad. if the pain feels like something other than soreness, then reconsider. but soreness is nothing to worry about.
Muscles are nonsensical they have nothing to do with this bullshit.

Cool mane, I'll keep that in mind! The thing about my back is that I have actually experienced some lower back pain before and it makes me a bit paranoid now.

I hit a light upper body session today. I was still too sore to hit a full-body workout. This is a rare type of soreness that only comes after big lay-offs. I hit legs 72+ hours ago and it is still painful to touch my quads lol.

1000m rowing @ light pace (33 strokes/min)
BW Dips - 2x12
BW Neutral Grip Pullups - 2x8
