^^^^ thanks man. The motivation of what you and others on this board have got done keeps me rolling.

6/3/16 Friday BW=164.2

b-ball 1.5 hours

6/4/16 Saturday BW=162.4

jump squat 5x45, 5x95
squat 3x185, 1x225, 1x245, 4x245, 2x7x225
deadlift 5x185, 5x225, 3x245
calf raise 4x10x200

solid workout. warmed up with jump rope, and my side was splitting after 1.5 minutes.

cardio wise I blow. Been working a band to gain some more mobility in my ankle recently. It really seems to be helping. That + lacrosse ball rolling on my foot for the win.

6/6/16 Monday BW=?

b-ball 1.5 hours

6/8/16 Wednesday BW=164.6

b-ball 1.5 hours
jump squat 5x45, 5x95
squat 3x185, 1x225, 1x245, 5x245, 7x230, 7x230
barbell hip thrust 3x10x95

I felt great this morning playing basketball, but no explosiveness. This afternoon when I went to lift weights this trend continued.
Tried some jumps and practically couldn't get off the ground. Somehow I was able to better Saturdays effort under the bar.
Good stuff. I have been slacking on the mobility work, but have gotten in plenty of upper body BW work. Seems like when my upper back is a bit sore My squat improves.

Feels like my ability to recover is at 0%. Over the last week weights have felt impossible.

6/19/16 Sunday BW=165.6

jump squat 5x45, 5x95
squat 3x185, 1x225, 1x245

6/25/16 Saturday BW=164.8

8k battlefrog mud run

6/29/16 Wednesday BW=164.6

3 step jumps 4x5
squat 5x185, 5x5x225
pull up 10,10,9,10
push up 4x30
dip 4x10

Have not done much in a bit. I took a full week off after the school year. Felt mint until last saturday when I did a 8k mud run. Just now feeling solid enough to work on progress.

I've been riding my bike to work about 6 miles total everyday so that's something.

7/3/16 Sunday BW=163.4

3 step jump 4x5
squat 2x185, 1x205, 1x225, 1x230, 5x230, 5x230
bench 5x165, 3x7x185

7/6/16 Wednesday BW=165.4

squat 3x185, 3x205, 3x225, 1x225, 0x205

7/10/16 Sunday BW=165.0

squat 3x185, 1x205, 1x225, 1x235, 4x230, 7x210, 7x210
barbell lunge 5x135, 3x6x185
calf raise 3x10x180

When I am more active during the school year, I assume I feel worn down from all the activity.

Now that I am a month into summer I can't seem to catch up, still wasted wtf?

Motivation to improve is low atm. Today was my first day off in a spell and get going enough to visit the barbell. best workout all month.

7/14/16  Thursday BW=166.2

squat 3x185, 1x225, 1x235, 5x230, 8x215, 8x215
barbell lunge 3x5x195
calf raise 2x10x190

There we go. I missed working out yesterday and tonight it was super late before I got a chance to lift. However I was able to muster up enough to make it happen. Only a couple reps and #'s more then last w/o but it felt so solid. need to stay after it.

7/18/16 Monday BW=163.0

standing VJ 2x5
jump squat 5x45
squat 2x185, 1x225, 1x240, 6x230, 7x220, 7x220

couple more reps on Monday, which was surprising because Sunday was morning till night almost non-stop manual labor.
Today I am feeling worn down. hopefully just rinse and repeat.

8/9/16 Tuesday BW=167.2

squat 5x135, 5x185, 4x5x205

Recently went on a 4500 mile road trip and took my first vacation in ages. Didn't do anything but gain weight and lose strength.
I have been doing pretty well at lifting weights about 2x a week for the last 10 years. After the break I got back in the squat rack and it turned out bad. I forgot how damn sore you can get. My BW Pull up/dip/push up routine has been hit 2x this week and is feeling good.
Positive is my body has no nagging issues. My back feels great!

8/13/16 Saturday BW=167.6

squat 3x185, 1x225, 2x5x225, 2x7x205
deadlift 5x185, 3x5x225
calf raise 3x12x180

Weights are a few reps better on saturday. I am ready for september to get back to basketball, my cardio is gone and I am probably 10#s over fighting weight.

i've decided that full breaks are underrated for most amateur athletes. 4500 miles is a hell of a lot of driving time, where'd you go?
Muscles are nonsensical they have nothing to do with this bullshit.

We went from Seattle to Nebraska. Got to see Yellowstone, the grand Tetons and arches national park on the journey. Weather was perfect, couldn't have gone better.

8/28/16 Sunday BW=170.4

Tuesday's MSEM didn't happen could not even get to normal rep weight without failing. Found the p90x ab disc which I loved to do circa 2013, and felt the burn for several days. Saturday Squats and deadlifts where locked and progress was good, just need to keep it up. I have some chalk coming in the mail that should help my dead lift's a bit.

what you mean normal rep weight, you were failing? like even light lifts? are you uber burnt out or still sore af from deadlifting a bit ago?
