Haven't been posting at all lately due to a surgery which I had over winter break... Right after I recovered from my thumb injury and finals I discovered I had a pilonidal cyst which i had to have surgically removed. A pilonidal cyst is basically a sac that develops underneath the skin in the upper cleft of your butt. Surgery was 1 week ago and the doctor said that the surgery he did was one that took longer to recover from, but that the cyst had less of a chance of recurring in later years. So for the past week I have done nothing but lay on my sides and stomach and sleep and watch tv. I haven't been able to sit normally for a week, and today is the first day I can actually put a little pressure on my butt and sit in a chair. So for the next few weeks I won't be able to do much except for walking around and maybe jogging at a slow pace. Anything that involves me sitting down or squatting down is out of the question for not because of the pain that it causes. Hopefully my cyst will heal up quickly and I'll be back to lifting and playing basketball like I was before winter break.
