Thanks for sharing this video. I've been slack with exercise and rehab since the corona virus kicked off. Gyms should be opening back up soon so I'll definitely start using the seated calf machine and try these achilles exercises by leaning near a wall.

Also do ISO version of these exercises and single leg standing calf raise on edge of steps, neutral postion, 6 hours apart from weights.
For a 1min or so

I found it very effective so far

5-10 mins of ISO work every 6 hours. The body becomes non-responsive to this until 6 hours later apparently
ISO soften the tendon for healing, whereas fast reactive movements stiffen

You can do this stuff at home.
After 2 sessions, I can feel a big difference on my achilles

BW- 93.0 put on a couple of kg due to no training and a sedentary office lifestyle.

Since I'm not playing sport this year my goal is to hit a 3 plate bench this year. I'm planning to bench at least twice a week.

Bench-
barx12
60x6
82.5x3
92.5x3
102.5x2
87.5x6
60x12

Incline DB Bench-
12x12
16x12
20x12

Treadmill and jump rope.

I've been having some tooth pain lately. I went to the dentist a couple of weeks ago and had an X-ray done and it showed one of my wisdom tooth was impacted so I had it removed today. The procedure was fine but my mouth has had a dull, throbbing ache since. Swelling isn't bad but it sucks being restricted with food.

Just rested for the past week after having my wisdom tooth taken out. I didn't go back to the dentist and have it officially diagnosed but I'm fairly sure I developed a dry socket but the pain has eased over the past day or so.

Bench-
barx12
60x6
85x3
95x3
105x2
90x6
65x12

Incline DB Bench-
14x12
18x12
22x12
26x5

Treadmill.

Tomorrow I'm planning on doing squats (first time in months) so I'm going to take it easy because I don't want to get DOMS.

Glad to hear your wisdom has sorted out, i had mine out in december and i wish i'd done it sooner but had just kept putting it off even though dentist was worried about it impacting.  Good not to have to worry about it anymore. The bench goal is solid but i dont know if you can train the bench as regularly as a squat, so im still not sure how you're supposed to set it up for progress, but 3x weekly, sounds reasonable?

Thanks maxent!

If I train bench 3x a week I would use 2 of the sessions as heavy sessions and another one as a speed session. I use a relatively narrow grip, which I adopted after watching a few videos from Konstantin Konstantinovs (RIP). His rationale for the narrower grip was that it placed less stress on the chest and shoulders, which allowed him to train bench more frequently.  Konstantinovs comments on his narrow grip bench technique, saying that it prevents injuries and provides continual power during the press, though strong triceps are needed.
