Nothing new here...
but I never really TRY to focus and Drill down what he suggested.

1. Plant Further form the rim
2. Much longer 3rd steps.

I Just keep thinking about speeding things up.
I do the Stand still, 1 step,  full run up.... I try to increase speed... arm swing.. everything.
but I try to take longer 3rd step a few times.. vert decreased an i gave up on it.

I watched this video again today... may be i should just give it a bit more time.

6-10" to your vertical jump instantly if you do it right...lol.

also, that video is, in essence, the t0ddday method. take it piece by piece.
Muscles are nonsensical they have nothing to do with this bullshit.

i closed the video once he said that. don't care how good the info is, if it follows a statement like that, it isn't worth a second of someone's time.

I had not stop... i just did not update here as frequent as i should.

My last update was about the time where Andy N, the 40yrs old dunk contacted me via utube.. suggesting me to STOP doing full approach jump as i am slowing down in my 2 final steps.
So i am back to D00days method... doing only single step jump with arm swing.

then a French sporting company recently opened a shop in Asia/China... approached me and want to feature me as one of their stories for a marketing campaign.
My so call, never give up yet never getting anywhere story got their attention.

So a few day of filming and photo shoot at the court, in the gym along with running around... sort of messed up my Training..  as I need to do some good jump instead of just 1 step jumps.
also need to Fix up my Olifting (which i stopped for a long while) for filming purpose.    So thing got messy.

Then  Easter holiday came and i took at week off for vacation...  and when i came back... i still have to do 2 day of filming for that project.

So... the D000day 1 step jump sort of Stucked with me.. for 1 month almost.

I knew my run up jump and stationary jump has always been similar.  But i am quite sure my run up jump is usualy higher than my stand still or 1 steps.
through out this month of... 1 step jump... there has been time where my 1 steps jump got AS high as or VERY close to my run jump max jump... It is rare, but it is possible...   may be 2 out of 15 jump or so..

i think it all come down to the RIGHT arm swing with speed and power.... and also how fast i descent aka loading.
I try to swing my arm back.... before i descent... so that when i swing my arm down... it can add to the loading... (this does not really work..)
i tent to jump better than i ..... just... focus on swining my arm up hard thorwing my body up...   disregarding the arm going down phase.
