edit: maybe it had something to do with the race/athletics talk.  :o

Kind of a stretch, lol.

I wrote a paper on "Precognitive Dreams" for my english class last year and the main scientific explanation for dream premonitions is the law of large numbers: Collectively human beings have so many dreams that there's bound to be occasional coincidental overlap between our dreams and real life. We forget most of our dreams, but a cue later in the day can cause us to remember one of our dreams if the cue was in the dream as well. This makes it seem like we have more "dream premonitions" than we actually do.

There have been some interesting case studies where people claim to have many dream premonitions in a short time period, which would refute the law of large numbers, but because of unreliability of study authors we can't draw conclusions.

Call me a delusional schizo, but I believe there's something more to dreams than what we can explain with science. At least our current level of science.

You aint schizo. Theres a lot of crazy stuff i learned about dreams in the past year. I dont even want to post what i know. But im reading through some of the dreams in this thread and notice some people need help with certain things. Im keeping it vague on purpose

Interesting:
You’ll notice a correlation between the following in women:
- irregular menstrual cycle
- cant get pregnant or had a miscarriage
- unexplained lower back pain
- mental fogginess
- bipolar or schizo or ADHD where they speak a mile a minute and keep jumping topics
- constipation or IBS
- hair loss
- depression
- dreams where they see animals like snakes, dogs, lions, rats, or insects. Or dreams where they are being chased or threatened by people. Or dreams of flying/falling from a high place. Or filthy dreams where they see urine poop and/or sex a lot

The more of the listed symptoms they have, the more likely they have the dreams i mentioned.
And vice versa. Do your own research and you’ll see!

what correlations do you notice in men?

had a dream last night that i finished the JFK 50 miler in 7:02, which in the dream was good enough for seventh place. (would have been 53rd last year IRL, i checked.)
Muscles are nonsensical they have nothing to do with this bullshit.

For men:

If they often have sexual dreams (and i mean like several times per week) and filthy dreams, check for stomach bloating, mental fogginess, mood swings, trouble sleeping at night (maybe even insomnia), and constantly fighting with their wife over trivial matters.

what is your source for these?

Keep your eyes open and you may notice these correlations yourself. Often, groups of symptoms come in a package with corresponding dreams. Over time people notice patterns so often that they can sometimes guess what kind of dreams someone has if they have studied it long enough. Kind of like how certain sicknesses have common groups of symptoms (runny nose + itchy eyes + etc pointing to XYZ illness). You’ll see that some symptoms point to types of dreams, and some types of dreams point to symptoms (and sometimes even what’s going on in someone’s life!)

Somewhere under the surface these things are connected. The body is interconnected in so many crazy ways. Sometimes physical pain is actually a result of emotional distress not being properly addressed. Sometimes you obviously dream about whats on your mind throughout the day. Well if youre mind is preoccupied with something, it may result in a set of physical symptoms (or maybe just aggravate existing symptoms that were under the radar until now), and you get corresponding dreams

People who seem to have constant issues in life like not being able to find a job, or cant have romantic relationships last, or cant ever get married. Something alwayssss blows it up inexplicably. Non stop for years. They get to the final round of job interviews and it falls apart at the end, every time. They are smart, have good experience, interview, they are attractive, but cant get a job? Cant get married? These people may see dogs or snakes in their dreams, or they get lost in their dreams and cant find their way, or they are looking for something and cant find it

I know a guy like this. Iirc i guessed he was seeing snakes, maybe dogs in his dreams. He told me it was mostly dogs (a lot of them) and sometimes snakes. So i was slightly off, but still more accurate than 99% of the population would be. Oh and i suspected his mother was also seeing snakes and dogs. She confirmed she did. His sister is successful with money but not romance, so i am not certain if she sees snakes and dogs. Butttt if she has menstrual problems, bloating, and lower back pain, then she likely sees them too

Raptor might be seeing (or used to?) dreams of carnivorous animals, insects, or people threatening/chasing him, or graves
