Eh. I think I've been able to clean that much for a long time. Just never did
"Performance during stretch-shortening cycle exercise is influenced by the visco-elastic properties of the muscle-tendon units. During stretching of an activated muscle, mechanical energy is absorbed in the tendon structures (tendon and aponeurosis) and this energy can subsequently be re-utilized if shortening of the muscle immediately follows the stretching. According to Biscotti (2000), 72% of the elastic energy restitution action comes from tendons, 28% - from contractile elements of muscles.

5 reps x 80kg quarter Squats  :ninja:.

I am happy and also feel that probably i am very hamstring dominant that's why its harder for deep squats as the quad has to work as well.
 :strong:
Warm up drills
   - a walk, b skip quick powerful switch (heel to hams focus), a runs, dribbles small to big to run, straight leg to runs (force, reflex, go up/forward). force to hit the ground before it hits the ground knee/hip is at 90 degrees.
   - acceleration: low heel recovery, shin angle low, drive legs back before hitting the ground and drive thighs/knee forward not up
-------------------------------------------------------------
Measuring reminder:
5 toe to heel steps = 148cm
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Strength comes from the legs, Power comes from the torso and Speed comes from the arm. Al Vermeil
Arm also aids the legs in driving it down with power - seifullaah73

"hamstring dominance" is not the reason why you can't squat deep.
Muscles are nonsensical they have nothing to do with this bullshit.

NO. insufficient mobility is the reason you can't squat deep. that is the only possible explanation for a healthy person.

I didn't say it properly.

What i meant to say was I can't deep squat as much weight as i can with quarter squats.
I can squat deep but the weight i use is less than the weight i used in the quarter squats.
Quarter Squat = 80kg, Deep squats = 50kg.

So i was thinking maybe i have weak quads compared to my hamstring that i can lift more in the quarter squat than i can with the deep squat.
I don't think mobility is an issue as I always before workout do hip mobility drills.

am i still wrong with the statement that because of my quads being weak that i can't deep squat as much as i can half squat?

yes, but if you can't figure out any other reason why you might be able to deep squat less than you can half or quarter squat, i can't help you.

More PR's as my first time getting timed.

tempo run
4 x (200 3min rest 100) 32s consistently

did the 4th set with only 1-2min rest after 3rd set so still a bit exhausted
200m 30sec

rested 30s-1min ran 100m in 13.9-14s (This one i am am happy with the most, when before i could run the 100m best was 14s)

I am happy about my tempo run times meaning i can actually run the 200m under 30 seconds.
100m in under 13 seconds maybe hoping hard.
