@LBSS
any other tips on the diet, or what should i add more to it or take out of it?

it's up to you, if that's working for you then great, but how consistent are you with weighing yourself? weight fluctuates a lot throughout the day...when you eat, when you take a shit, when you sweat a lot. are you weighing yourself at the same time, on the same scale? are you happy with two pounds lost per week?

i dunno, i guess i'd go with what entropy's saying in your intro thread and do something a little more hardcore. but if you're happy with two pounds a week and you're genuinely losing it and making progress in the gym, no reason to change anything.

@LBSS
i mean i would be happier if id lose a lot more weight, but since i lack the knowledge, ive only read that its only healthy to lose 5lbs a week, and anything more can lead to negative effects? is this true or just BS
and another thing, what do you mean a little more hardcore? what type of diet, going vegetarian for a while? intense cardio? id be willing to do those as long as it will help me get this bf% down fast  :)

regarding the weighing thing, i weigh at the same time at the same scale and at the same amount of work done once a week

ok ive now decided to embark on high intensity interval training as my cardio on rest days, im gonna use shawn T's insanity since ive completed this before and was on my lightest weight during this program (184lbs)  since i have eased in to working out, il be doing this routine in a couple of days on top of my normal weight routine, from there il see what my body can take and adjust my diet based on what id be feeling during a week of insanity + weight training, thanks again for all the input hopefully will lose more bf in the addition of this HIIT

no. see my post in your intro thread. also, you should probably pick one thread or the other to update, it's kind of confusing to have both.

posted this around 1 am here in our country, wasnt thinking, tired and sleepy, cant go vegan coz i need protein to recover from the hard lifting days, il post soon what diet i will come up with

@jumping
was able to play bball at a hardwood floor last night, i cant get my shooting in coz my legs are still sore from the workout the day before but my jumps really increased. can easily touch grab the rim even when tired without giving it a 100%, felt really lighter jumping compared to before. i was able to touch the rim with two hands, the great thing about this is i was never able to touch the rim with two hands in my entire life.  even my brothers noticed that i jump easier, less effort on rim grabs.  I guess what im doing is paying off. time to push myself even harder, i really need to get down to 185lbs and 15% bf really fast.  I feel that if i do that results would be greater. will continue to workhard

@LBSS
i was playing with the idea of HIIT again, what you said that on recover days i recover and on workout days i workout, and if i do HIIT on recovery days then i will just fatigue myself and be detremental to my recovery. how about i do light HIIT 20 mins early in the morning (fasted) on workout days, then do weight training in the afternoon while doing light cardio on recovery days, would that still be bad for my weight training/vertical?  (im no longer pertaining to hardcore HIIT like insanity, insanity takes a toll on the body afterwards, but rather HIIT speed ropes and HIIT sprints)

why do you want to do HIIT at all? why not just take a walk or easy jog or hop on an exercise bike?

1. hav a question though, when do i have to wear a weightlifting belt? or do i have to even wear that? ive read that it increases your lifts but lessens the effect on your core and lower back, making them less developed

2. il be able to lift again for my strength day only after 3 days, i have stuff to do and will only be able to go to the gym after 3 days of recovery, what do you suggest that i do in between so that my gains will not affected or it doesnt matter at all?
