7/8/2018Sunday League Game - 4.17 mi Meditated just for 5min before the game because it was an early morning one and I wanted to get a good warmup in. We ended up winning 2-0. I had a pretty strong performance with one goal and an assist. The goal was a header off a free kick into the upper 90

. Really just got up in the air and met it at its highest point, the rest was luck.
The team we played was hard working but relatively weak. Nevertheless it was an encouraging performance. My touch was better, felt fresh throughout the game, was nimble on my feet, and mentally was for the most part positive with a few negative lapses. Both the physical and meditation training factored in. I want to be a bit stronger with shots on goal and there's still some cleaning up to do with regard to skill and game awareness along with being even more positive.
The one thing I'm honestly considering is dropping the one lifting day considering how good I felt. I'm going to try a Wed circuit with weights instead and see how that works out. This upcoming Sunday we face the strongest team in the league and playoffs are looming.
