What do you think of the brooks t7 racer and the others on this list.
http://www.complex.com/sneakers/2013/04/the-10-best-cross-country-racing-flats-available-today
I found this on ebay it's at 0.99 bid, 7.5 size uk, which is my size but size 7 also fits me.
It's starting cheap let's hope I can get it as it is in the UK

for what though? for sprinting? or running middle/long distances?
i ASSUME sprinting .. looks a bit bulky for sprinting. The "fastest" shoe there, looks more like the "Mizuno Wave Universe 4":
also it says it's 3.8 oz, very light.
The brooks t7 racer is 6.x oz? kinda "heavy" for short sprinters.

Wish they had a review on solereview.com, that's one of the best sites for reviews.
What kind of shoe are you looking for?
pc!

I could not get any of the shoes you recommended as I am still training in my asics trainers. I would like get some light trainers for training and for small meets.

cool!
can you link some sites that would be able to deliver shoes to you?
can you order from http://www.runningwarehouse.eu/fpc.html?
I order from them in the US, great customer service etc, great return policy, lots of cheap flats.
-
You're in the UK right? Check this site, realy amazing combination of huge variety and low prices: www.sportsshoes.com

Thanks for the link. It shows that they do order to the UK, so I think I can order from here.
what shoes that is cheap and would be good for me to training sprinting. I don't want to go too light, I want to use them for the meets.
Unless you recommend I get the lightest possible then ok.
1. Training Light
2. Meets
When competition becomes more stronger that small seconds matters than I will do spikes.

Yep. Thanks for the link.
Maybe you and adarq can choose a good shoe from this site, which may not be available in the other site adarq posted above.
EDIT:
Wow these are super light.
ASICS PIRANHA SP5 RUNNING SHOES from the sportsshoes.com but it's asics.

sh*t forgot about this. will check tmw!!
-
seifullaah73, i didn't ignore you either, i am just not knowledgeable at all about running/track shoes, i follow only bball shoes review sites, so i left the choosing to Andrew.

I am thinking of buying the asics pirranha. Very light.

I know you guys didn't ignore me. I thought that since I already had found a nice shoe on that site. But I will wait to see what adarq can find if asics pirannha is not good.

quick review:
https://runrepeat.com/asics-piranha
that piranha looks pretty good.. 3.9 oz fast shoe. the fact that you want to train AND race in them, makes that weight seem reasonable. You don't put in huge volume in your sprint training sessions so I don't think these would be a problem.
the only thing I don't like about them right off the bat, is the 4mm heel/toe drop. It's not huge, very small in fact, but definitely noticeable to someone like me who prefers 0 drop (or negative drop) for running/sprinting shoes.
i couldn't find anything on sportsshoes, lots of nice spikes but nothing spikeless for sprinting :/
couldn't find anything on runningwarehouse either, bleh!
http://www.runningwarehouse.eu/searchshoe.html?cat_filter=MRSROARACSH&type=men#cat_filter=MRSROARACSH&type=men&search=args&filter_pron=RMSNEU&minprice=&maxprice=&filter_type=null&opt_page=1&opt_sort=alphaAtoZ&opt_perpage=20
everything is for 5k+, bulky heel etc.
seems like the asics piranha is the best find so far.. I wish they had my saucony shay xc4's on one of these sites, i'd recommend that. 0 drop & has a bit more support, coming in at ~4.4 oz.
anyone else have any links, specifically with spikeless flats in the UK?
-
You can find a lot on amazon. But other than that I can't think of any other links.
I guess its the asics piranha then.
-
the future of racing flats, with a 10mm heel->toe drop & an enormous price tag!
sure hope not.

lmfao.

since i'm returning my saucony compression shorts (awful), just ordered a pair of saucony carrera xc 3's, 1 oz lighter than my new saucony shay xc4's... my severely broken in saucony shay xc4's are probably just as light though. I absolutely love my saucony shay xc4's but they are becoming harder to find. So just going to try these out for fun, I imagine i'll love them. I actually saw some kid (16:XX'r) in early 2016 race with them, one of the few people doing road races in flats like this. He was really impressive.

needed something for long road training, to protect my feet more, make my legs stronger (heavier shoes), and spare my racing flats the "extra miles".
picked up Brooks these today:
Brook Hyperion

Feel really good.. Tried on some Saucony's and New Balance's, didn't come close to these. The guy at the store (who I met at some races), suggested them to me. He brought me out a few pair, and this was the last one, which he said he thought i'd prefer. cool. went well.

brooks hyperion is a racing flat, no? you know you love lightweight shoes when 6.4 ounces is "heavier" than what you're used to! :P
-
Ordered a pair of those last week, expecting them by Friday:
https://runrepeat.com/adidas-adizero-tempo-9
Pretty fast and light for a boost shoe. Was tempted about racing flats / minimal shoes but I want my cushion, running when you are above 40yo and 190lbs demands that lol.
This is the specific color i chose, well to be accurate this specific color was off 50% so it was easy to choose them :D :

ya lol. hyperion is one of the lightest long distance racing flats around, and it feels heavy af to me. no idea how people run fast in these kinds of shoes. truly boggles my mind.

nice!!
you love that boost.
get some minimalist shoes if you have an area of nice hard packed grass/dirt around :D good way to go minimalist but have more protection due to the softer surface. :ninja:
-
Yeah, i love boost with passion! Feels like the good old zoom but better, softer and firmer at the same time, that foam is magical!
As for minimal shoes and surfaces to run... there is an actual track and field stadium right next to where i live. But i am not sure i'll use it for now, this running around the neighborhood seems much more interesting, less boring. Its a seaside neighborhood, not many buildings, it is at the edge of the domestic block, just park and trees and sea all around for the most part, it is really lovely to run at that scenery.

#boostclub
ah that sounds like a great place to run.
as for the track, if you started focusing on trying to improve overall speed etc, it would be used more for intense/specific workouts, so like 1x/wk after you've been running for a while. so mostly enjoyable scenic runs, and one hamster wheel day. track surfaces are still pretty hard. definitely not as hard as roads/sidewalk, but way harder than grass/dirt. harder surfaces are a huge difference to me now. Getting very used to grass/dirt/mulch, absolutely love it. It's all I want to run on now :D Need to enter more XC races. :ninja:
