All my life people who don't work nearly as hard or dedicated to the sport of basketball or jump training have always outperformed me. It's crazy. It both discourages me and makes me that much more encouraged to do it.
Been jump training for a while until I actually found the "way". Many hours researching how the body really works. Many years training. I've been doing heavy lifting brutally and nearly religiously for a while now. I am now 15 years old, 6'1", 180 lbs , and I can squat 315lbs x 7 ATG and 325lbsx6 ATG. I train mostly squats and deadlifts, which is why they are high compared to other lifts.
I can't jump though. The best I can get up is grabbing rim with both hands. I can touch rim from both hands from a standstill.
I need to work on my rate of force development.
Today I was doing Complexes with heavy deadlifts, kettle bell swings, depth jumps, and depth drops.

Your pretty strong mate. Start sprinting full speed and stop when your performance decreases. Also not lifting for a couple weeks to a month might be a good idea.

If you can grab rim with both hands you should be able to dunk assuming you can palm a basketball. It sounds like you've got a strong vertical, but you have poor reactivity. On the bright side you're only 15 so you'll probably end up being 6'4 and able to dunk easily due to height/reach.

Sprints are the way to go then huh?
For heavy lifting, i usually do a set of 7 squats@ 315lbs ATG a few times a week, of course after a proper warm up. I've been doing French Contrast but i stopped a few weeks back. It did give me some results. But I haven't jumped without slight fatigue for a while, and I've been lifting to prevent strength loss because I want to cut some fat before the season starts.
I've been getting a pretty good sleep schedule lately which GREATLY effects my energy. Melatonin is king!
People keep telling me to work on my calves, but I heard calves play a minimal role in jumping.
I think something good is happening from this though. I've noticed in my squats that my bar speed is getting better and reps are less of a struggle out of the hole.
Should I do Olympic lifts?
Also, what are subsitutes for sprints? The winter is coming and that might not always be around.

do you have any videos of yourself jumping? based on your height and strength it seems like you should be able to jump higher pretty quickly.

No I don't, but I can tap the rim with both hands from a stand still, and grab the rim with both hands given some steps. A full run up would give me~ the same height. It's weird, I thought that maybe I'ts a core strength issue, but my core would have to be pretty strong given that I can squat 315lbs x7 raw ATG. I can also deadlift around 400lbs, with decent form.

Plyometrics. Just start jumping more.
Also when I was your age and training full time, I managed to snap my shit up pretty good by over training - both knees and ankles fucked. So take care of yourself and don't overdo it. :) But yeah, plyos.
