and there's no video of him squatting. so who knows what he means by squat. also who knows how often he trains it, and at what speed, what form etc.

also what are you talking about with "wtf squat is good for"? he's claiming a 2.6 BW squat.................................................................

Su Bingtian is a Chinese track and field athlete who competes in the sprints. He is the reigning Asian champion over 100 metres, was a semi-finalist at the 2012 Summer Olympics and a finalist at the 2015 and 2017 World Championships.

Born: August 29, 1989 (age 28), Guzhen, Guangdong, China
Height: 5′ 8″
Weight: 143 lbs

who knows.

but we do know he's fast, strong, 5'8, and light.

352lbs doesn't sound like much but it's 2.6x his body weight, which is equivalent of a 200lb Kingfish squatting 520lbs.

If I was using a case of squat not meaning shit I'd be using someone like Christophe Lemaitre who can barely squat his own body weight and trains by doing power cleans with 100lbs!!!! He really needs to move out of France and relocate to Jamaica or the USA if he ever wants to improve because clearly staying in Europe in his comfort zone is doing nothing for his career.

You don't have to be muscular or bulky to run fast but you have to be able to move a certain amount of weight at a fast rate, lifting heavy weights is not as important as getting fast on the track but lifting 100lbs is RIDICULOUS for a world class sprinter

it could be ridiculous but, what really is ridiculous would be staying in your comfort zone when it comes to actual track work - and who you train with etc. If he's not surrounding himself with monsters, then ya, awful for his development.

that'd be interesting if Christophe moved to Jamaica several years back .. it'd be like The Robertson bros who moved to Kenya at ~16-17, and became some of the best runners in the world.

any people moving to Jamaica like that? That'd be cool to follow.. also, if it's not happening, it should be.

peace!

The distance between the finish line and the padded wall is big enough not to worry about approx 30m and the outer track bend is slanted as well.

^ why do they have to run on shorter track and have to worry about hitting a padded wall? im sure that does distract em slllllightly.

because they're inside.
