Hi

I am training for the 100m and know the basic procedures i think. From the Starting Line you hold your breath and you explode outwards swinging arm vigorously and reaching as far as possible not intentionally of course but naturally. but not too ahead but at the centre of mass. keeping body at an angle with high knee for about 30m before rising head up breathing for every single arm swing. Then be straight upright and run as fast as possible some can even accelerate at this point i.e. usain bolt.

but when it comes to 200m how does this differ would you be in an upright position from 40m to 100m?

also it says to keep body at an angle at the start but looking at the professional sprinters it looks as if their upper body is at an angle the lower body is upright. looks strange.

thats it.... for now  :P until i can think of more

Warm up drills
   - a walk, b skip quick powerful switch (heel to hams focus), a runs, dribbles small to big to run, straight leg to runs (force, reflex, go up/forward). force to hit the ground before it hits the ground knee/hip is at 90 degrees.
   - acceleration: low heel recovery, shin angle low, drive legs back before hitting the ground and drive thighs/knee forward not up

Measuring reminder:
5 toe to heel steps = 148cm

Arm also aids the legs in driving it down with power - seifullaah73
